first draft I wrote a lot of unnecessary information which lead my essay to have a number of words that exceeded the word count. This time I made

When proofread sometime you read it the way you think you want it to sound like. It makes it hard to proofread something you just wrote because

I paste my paper on google transition and let it read it to me. That way I can hear where I messed up at. Take some time away of the paper and then
go back and read it. Look for one thing at a time like apostrophe, capital letters and period.

Considering that I demonstrated proper usage of quotes, and wrote a decent hook that could grab an audience's attention. Also, I connected every
paragraph, so that the paragraphs could be cohesive and understand by the reader. Not only that, I have finally written a thesis statement that was

In the video "The The Impotence of Proofreading" by Taylor Mali the purpose of the video was to give techniques to help students in the process of
proofreading a paper. Also, it talked about the most common mistakes people make when proofreading a paper for example, just checking the

taking this course I have been able to improve many of my weaknesses, but there are still some that I need to work on. Overall I am becoming
better at not procrastinating as much as I used to. This class has helped me to learn to take the little steps along the way because then there will not

I need to learn to quit thinking as much on what I want to write about and how to write about a topic and just starting jotting stuff down in outline form

There are several resources available to ensure college students that their writings are accurate and efficient. Spell check and Grammar check are the
most well known tools for writers. Bethel University has opened my eyes to much better resources that are available to their students such as, Bethel
University's online library, the EBSCO database, the Smartthinking lab, and the "cite" tool in the Bethel University online library. There is also
