The Gorgon Project is one of the world's largest natural gas projects and Australia's largest single resource development located on Barrow Island off the coast of Western Australia. Kellogg Joint Venture Group (KJVG) was awarded the contract in 2009 to provide front-end engineering design, engineering, procurement, construction management and commissioning for the project. The project includes three 5.2 million tonne per annum liquefied natural gas export plants and a domestic gas plant with the capacity to supply 300 terajoules of gas per day. It is a joint venture between major companies Chevron, ExxonMobil, Shell, Osaka Gas, Tokyo Gas and Chubu Electric Power.
