Ontario's Feed-In Tariff Program is Worth ItJohn Farrell
ILSR Senior Researcher John Farrell gave this presentation remotely to the Ontario Power Perspectives conference on April 16, 2012. He was supposed to be there in person, but he forgot to renew his passport. The presentation highlights how Ontario’s “buy local” rule, bonuses for community ownership and focus on distributed generation make their feed-in tariff program very worthwhile.
A presentation on the renewable energy potential and benefits of clean, local power generation for the state of Kentucky. Includes several examples of rural cooperatives pursuing community solar projects around the country.
In a presentation to Clean Energy Action in May 2010, Charles McGlashan shared the experience of Marin County, CA in taking control of its own energy supply, a challenge now facing Boulder, CO. As a member of the Marin County Board of Supervisors, McGlashan has been instrumental in the creation of Marin County Energy, the entity that has worked to provide the community with renewable energy options and local power.
Renewable and low carbon energy capacity study for the East of Englandcrifcambs
Richard Summers from The Landscape Partnership and Andrew Turton from AECOM shared their findings from work commissioned by the Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC) to identify the potential for renewable energy in the East of England. This study highlighted the renewable energy resources for Cambridgeshire.
Presented to Councillors on 28 September 2011.

Project Proposal on 10 MW Solar PV Power PlantVignesh Sekar
By installing and successfully operating 10 MW photovoltaic (PV) power plants will deliver electricity for consumption by the owners, the relevant peoples in the project assessment place will be made aware of the technical and economic potential of solar power generation. Furthermore, the power required from the public grid will be reduced, and overall expenditure on electric power will be lowered & our project aims to create the necessary awareness among the population, and especially among policy-makers and large investors, Youngsters.....
Technical-Economic Assessment of Energy Efficiency Measures in a Mid-Size Ind...Luis Ram Rojas-Sol
The industry sector is facing many challenges such as global competition, energy pricing, environmental impact amongst others. Consequently, the necessity of energy efficiency measures has become evident; framing the objective of this project as to assess the technical and economic pre-feasibility of implementing energy efficiency measures in a dairy products manufacturing company located at the south of the Reunion Island with the help of RETSCreen ® a Clean Energy Project Analysis Software. The scope of the project is focused in one of the nine buildings where the company accomplishes different production processes, specifically in the ultra-high temperature pasteurization facility building (UHT).

1. Basic characteristics of Project
The intention of the project is to build a cogeneration plant for the production of electricity and heat using the new technology
of gasification of wood biomass forestry activities such as pieces of wood, leaves, branches originating from deciduous and
coniferous trees.
The total installed capacity of the plant will be 9.6 MW of electricity and 10.8 MW of thermal energy (which is the first stage is
spent in the dryer), and its implementation will be carried out in three stages

3.Biomass gasification power system
As you may know, the biomass gasification power generation system consists three parts: gasification system, gas
purification system, gas generator set. We produce the complete system.
For the gasifier we have fixed bed gasifier(downdraft and updraft) or circulating fluidized bed gasifier.
For the gas purification system, we have wet purification system and dry purification system.
For the gas generator set, we are also the one of the biggest low-speed and medium-speed engine company in
China which has more than 60 years’ history.
For gasification system(gasifier and purification system), we have 2 x 1000KW.
For generator set, we have 2 x 1000KW for low heat value gas from biomass gasifier.
