This document summarizes a seminar on obstacle detection using GPS systems. The seminar was presented by four students under the guidance of their professor from the Department of Computer Technology. The seminar covered the introduction of GPS and location-based services, the motivation and problem statement for the seminar topic, objectives of obstacle detection using GPS, a literature review, and the expected system architecture and conclusion. The seminar aimed to discuss updating GPS locations quickly, selecting optimal routes, changing profiles based on location, tracking locations of friends and family via SMS, and detecting restricted areas.
