Asghar Zaidi is working on a project for Marico to validate outlets and do a competitive analysis for Saffola products like muesli and oats in Mumbai-II region. The project aims to build Marico's food category brand and look for shelf space opportunities. Zaidi met with the Regional Sales Manager and was given a database of uncovered outlets purchased by Marico, and assigned Vijay Bahadur Singh as the project mentor. The performance will be measured based on 4 tasks - verifying the outlet database, convincing uncovered outlets to stock oats, finding new outlets, and training direct sales representatives. Zaidi has been working with 7 distributors in the Mumbai-II region and is attach
