In this project, you will first learn about networking in the cloud and auxiliary cloud services provided by cloud vendors. Next, you will explore cloud computing trends, best practices, and issues involved in migrating IT deployments to the cloud, as well as typical architectures of cloud deployments. Then, you will apply your findings to propose a general architecture for BallotOnline’s cloud deployment to best address the company’s business requirements.
Once you have selected a deployment architecture, you will research two leading cloud vendors: Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. Exploring and comparing the tools available for application migration will enable you to recommend a vendor to the executives in your final report. The final deliverable is a written report to BallotOnline management, describing the results of your research and recommending the cloud deployment architecture and the vendor for its deployment, with justification.
Your final report should demonstrate that you understand the IT needs of the organization as you evaluate and select cloud providers. computing now provides us with powerful data processing and storage, exceptional availability and
security, rapid accessibility and adaption, ensured flexibility and interoperability, and time and cost
efficiency. Cloud computing offers three platforms (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) with unique capabilities that
promise to make it easier for a customer, organization, or trade to establish any type of IT business. We
compared a variety of cloud service characteristics in this article, following the comparing, it's

- 1. Project 2: Cloud Vendor Presentation In this project, you will develop a detailed comparative analysis of cloud vendors and their services. A comparative analysis provides an item-by-item comparison of two or more alternatives, processes, products, or systems. In this case, you will compare the pros/cons of the cloud service providers in terms of security, ease of use, service models, services/tools they provide, pricing, technical support, cloud service providers’ infrastructure, and architecture model.You will present your findings to the owner of the company in a narrated PowerPoint presentation with 10 to 20 slides. Use the Cloud Presentation Template.This resource can help you prepare and record your presentation: Presentation Resources.Presentation GuidelinesYour presentation should be comprised of the following:One to two slides on the company profile.One to two slides on what the company is struggling with.One to two slides on current infrastructure.Three to six slides on the top three cloud services providers. Include their service models (i.e., SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), services/tools/solutions (i.e., compute, storage, database, developer tools, analytics tools, networking and content delivery, customer engagement), pricing, accessibility, technical support for companies, global infrastructure.One to two slides on a recommended cloud service provider based on the comparative analysis and the cloud vendor’s abilities to meet the service needs of the company.One slide on the conclusion.
