Introduction
 Automatic car parking is depended on the
technology that have some new ways to park
the car easily without human resource ,
 By use the technology park the car inside the
garage easily by make some programming to
make controlling for all parts to be easy in
parking
Abstract
 Automatic car parking is a mechanical &
electrical system designed to minimize
the area
 The idea of the project is depended on
the technology that have some goals to
protect the cars and decrease the traffic
jam , that some of people doesn't
interact with the vitality place so it
provide safety place by new ways with
technology
Project specification:
Functionality :- this project used for park the car
inside the
garage under the ground easily & Automatically
Health & safety :- make the project safety by using
security system ( password or stuff like that ) also
using component and tools friendly Environmentally
not cause any thing detrimental for the employee and
the customer also when i work i should wear the PPE
for make protection like ( Gloves , Glasses and
Avarol )
 standard & legislation :- this project
take ISO , BS & EOS certification .. also
take CE mark & ISO 9001 for the
pistons .. also for motors ( CANCSA
C390_10 )
Component of project
 1_ Arduino UNO: Operation volt 5V
 Clock speed 16MHz
 Used for make the programming & the control for
the project
 Battery: Operating volt :12V
 Current :7A
 Used for work the motor
 Relay: Operating volt :12V
 Coil resistance :360 Ώ
 It used in the driver circuit
 Piston: Push the car up & down
 Dc Motor: Operating volt 12V
 Used for the movement
 Free wheel: Small size
 Used In the movement of the maket
Project implementation (
practical work )
In the first when we start to buy the component , that
start to buy the wood to make the maket of our project
Then we buy the motors to make the
control in the movement & also to to used
for up & down the stamp that carry the car
from outside to under the ground
Then we get a lot of problem in this part that
can’t make control in the speed & the torque of
the motor so we decided to use a new idea for
(up & down the car under the garage ) by using
pneumatic system that we buy 3 piston, 3
valves & the connections of it
Then we buy the batteries for the motor to
work
Then we buy free wheels to carry the
maket to make it easy in the
movement
After that we get the arduino circuit to
make the programming & the control for all
the project
Problems & solutions of the
project
 first problem
 at first we were want to use arduino
program to programming motors and
control in movement .. but we weren't know
how to work on it
 The solution of this problem :
 we went to our Assessor Engineer Rowan
and she learned us how to work on the
program by make different order on the
program and let us try to solve our problem
 second problem
 we were construct component of Driver
circuit that opposite motor movement and the
component was destroyed quickly without
any Reason to Review
 The solution of this problem:
 we get help from Engr Rowan and we
founded that we were use transistor 2N222
with high voltage and that damage the
transistor
 third problem
 when we decided to work with pneumatic
system we weren't know how to construct it
 _ the solution of this problem:
we got help from Engr Khalid Mohamed by
make us search first about the system and
how to use it and gave us some information
that help us
 fourth problem
 when we were bought the woods , we
bought plywood this type of wood isn't good
for our project because we were need type
that will carry heavy things and this type
won't carry this weight
 the solution of this problem:
 we using another type of the wood that beer
heavy load like ( contras )
 Fifth problem:
 when we were construct the wheels with motors
that will take the car & put it in her place that the
coble used to connect the motor with the
wheels not clear & also effect on the movement
& make an friction on ground &not move quickly
 the solution of this problem:
 we solve this problem by going to lath work
shop and make new coble to connect the
connect the motors with wheels
 sixth problem
 when we are made the circuit of the pneumatic
system we found problem that we are connect
two switch to turn on the valve is the same time
so the circuit doesn't work .
 The solution of this problem:
 - solving the problem : we going to get help from
Doctor khaled to know where to wrong and fix it
that we are organize this circuit and make
electrical circuit to make control in this part to
work continuously
 Seventh problem
 We can't out the car on the robot
because the piston is short
 the solution of this problem:
 we decide to use robot to take the car
from inside to park it in the specific place
Improvements
First improve for asmaa hosni :
-by use eye fingerprint for the security system &
also to open the garage
Second improve for esraa nasser:
-operate the motor by battery by using solar cell
Third improve for doaa ibrahem:
-maket the part of the belt in the Pneumatic
system.
Fourth improve for esraa abdelfatah:
-in the arduino in robot part
Fifth improve for baher elsayed:
-use sensor SEN04172P that use the
fingerprint
Final improve for georg gaber:
-put the Ultrasonic Proximity Sensorbefore
the first piston
Conclusion:
 After finish the project can say this
project have a lot advantage it have a
high safety form accident and have a
safe for car, but this project need a big
place to can made it and need a lot
money to made it.
