Cantacuzino Palace is located in Bucharest and was built in 1901-1903 for Gheorghe Grigore Cantacuzino, the former mayor and prime minister of Bucharest. After being inherited by his son, the palace later hosted the Presidency of the Council of Ministers before World War II. In 1956, it was established as the National Museum George Enescu according to the will of George Enescu's wife, who had inherited the palace and wanted it dedicated to the famous composer.
