This document outlines 3M's plan for a "Smart Talent Revolution" program to attract and develop young talent. The objectives are to improve 3M's leadership pipeline, modernize the organization, and boost employer branding. The program will target millennials under 25 from top international universities who are curious, creative, and able to think outside the box. Participants will go through an application and assessment process, and the final few will be placed in sales, marketing, or operations projects and leadership development experiences over the course of 2 years, with the goal of retaining 50% as high-potential employees.
