This document outlines the religious and social components of a program. The religious component includes dedicating nations to God, establishing prayer initiatives, conducting research on religious issues, and facilitating national repentance and fasting. Over the past decade, the child-friendly schools (CFS) model has emerged as UNICEF’s signature means to advocate for and promote quality education for every girl and boy. Child-friendly schools enable all children to achieve their full potential. As a part of a Global Capacity Development Programme on CFS, UNICEF has developed the Child Friendly Schools Manual, a reference document and practical guidebook to help countries implement CFS models appropriate to their specific circumstances.

Strategize spiritual steps in partnership with the church and local governments for
nations and
Facilitate appropriate follow-up steps mechanisms
Capacitate the expansion and sustainability of the Divine Justice Programme
Establish Messianic School of intercession
Strengthening the capacity of existing faith based programmes that promotes the
agenda of the Lord
Establish a Gethsemane Prayer Mountain (Isaiah 2:1-4), (Luke 22:39-45)
Conduct national faith based research on the perception of the church and the
mosque on religious violence, idolatry, abortion, lesbian and gay circles.
Conduct National faith based consultative workshops to develop a National Advocacy
Policy and Communiqué thereby.
Facilitate seven (7) days of National Repentance, Prayer and Fasting for the nation
every year in the seventh month.
Facilitate the Dedication/Covenanting of Nations and Follow-up government in
repentance through, discernment, documentation and resolutions.
Establish “Market Place Redemption” with the biblical values of diversity, combating
corruption, legislation & enforcement of it, secures human freedom, doing not for
profit business that are human value objective oriented, take responsibility for the
widows, orphans, environment and many more creative activities.
SOCIAL COMPONENT:
HEALTH
WOMEN & CHILDREN WELL-BEING
o Effecting iron supplement on school children aimed at improving children’s education
performance.
o Supporting families on social bonding to nurture, guide, love and protect children to
encourage positive aspirations and boost confidence.
o Advocating for the consideration and provision of adequate income for child
development.
o Helping families to improve their potential to earn and develop by supporting basic
service such as education (particularly for girls), health, water and sanitation.
o Enabling poorer farmer to increase production and benefit from trade through improve
access to assets such as land and agricultural inputs and through higher public
investment in staple food technologies, irrigation and infrastructure.
o Providing guidance on how to avoid adverse effects of policies on children (that is
through appropriate labour saving technologies) for women to free up time for child
care.
o Enhancing access to develop local markets and allowing poorer markets greater
flexibility in trade policy choices (that is through selective and temporary trade
protection) to help overcome low income traps.
o Protecting key programmes for mothers and children in areas where public spending
has to be cut.
2. WOMEN & CHILD HEALTH
o Investing on long term programmes that aim to reduce educational gaps and improve
the average schooling of Sierra Leonean women.
o Nutritional related training programmes for uneducated and under educated rural
women to improve children’s health in the short term.
o Supporting the improvement public facilities such as sewerage facilities and road
networks in areas where low educated mothers are concentrated.
o Effecting iron supplement on school children aimed at improving children’s
educational performance.
o Conditional direct payment to poor households in disadvantage areas to increase the
use of preventive services and attendance for child check-ups to allow child
immunization and growth monitoring to take place more regularly and effectively.
o Promoting breast feeding through increasing the rate and duration of exclusive breast
feeding with additional community – based support for mothers.
o Understanding the needs of how gender influence households’ decisions to seek health
care for their children.
o Supporting midwives assisting home birth.
o Scaling up of community based activities on malaria prevention, control and use of
ITN.
o Filling implementation gaps in the National HIV/AIDS response - towards achievement
to accelerate national access.
o Scaling up community - based therapeutic care through training of medical and
nursing staff for Severely Acute Malnourished (SAM) children.
o Raising awareness of health care professionals, service providers and users of
palliative care through enhancing the planning and expedition of local relevant
services
o Breaking cycle of deprivation through assessing the links between poverty, stunted
growth - often causes by ill health and malnutrition - and low achievement at school
WOMEN & CHILD EDUCATION
o Supporting quality formal Education combined with informal education to develop life
skills as well as educated parents to help improve opportunities for children.
o Improving working conditions of teachers through upgrading school infrastructures
and equipment.
o Strengthening teachers’ abilities to promote Gender equality particularly in the
context of HIV/AIDS.
o Exploring path ways of how women teachers’ experiences of trying to build teaching
career and balance multiple commitment.
o Coordination of education in emergencies and early reconstruction of educational
provision to bring together severely fractured regions/areas and limit trauma,
abduction or forced labour of children affected.
o Supporting the provision of variety of basic and vocational education to those who
have no access to formal system and who need to supplement education already
received or pursued objectives not catered for by formal schools.
o Stimulating critical thoughts and discussions on how to enhance learning and
critically examine which are the internal and external factors influencing the learning
process.
o Supporting information and knowledge building systems to enhance access to digital
curriculum and discover opportunities for study and employment.
o Enhancing women literacy in rural land management through providing face – to –
face training sessions using posters, flip charts to convey messages.
o Promoting and recording children intensive knowledge of local plants, medicinal herbs
and information technology.
o Technology and Media Services for Individuals With Disabilities--Research and
Development Center on Digital Images and Graphic Content in Accessible
