Visible and near-infrared emission properties of melt-grown Dy doped CsPbCl3 ...
Doping of lead halides perovskites with rare-earth metals ions has become of significant current interest for possible applications in optoelectronics. In this research, we studied the material preparation and the visible to near IR optical properties of Dy3+ doped CsPbCl3. The crystal was synthesized from purified starting materials and melt-grown by vertical Bridgman technique. Visible emission studies under resonant-intra-4f excitation at ~450nm revealed bright yellow emission centered at 575nm arising from the 4F9/2 to 4H13/2 transition of Dy3+ ions. Additional emission bands arising from the 4F9/2 excited states were centered at 485nm, 664nm and 752nm. The decay time of the 4F9/2 level was non-exponential with an average lifetime of ~320 µs. Near-infrared emission studies were performed using a 808 nm diode lasers and revealed several IR bands located at 1.14 µm (6H7/2+6F9/2 ->6H15/2), 1.33 µm(6H9/2+6F11/2 ->6H15/2) , 1.55 µm (6F5/2 ->6H11/2), and ~1.7 µm (6H11/2 ->6H15/2) arising from lower excited states of Dy3+ ions. Talbot Interferometry to estimate focal length

Interpreting Laser Diffraction Results for Non-Spherical Particles
Particle shape can have a profound impact on particle size distribution (PSD) measurements. In the case of Laser Diffraction, the shape and aspect ratio of particles alter the diffraction pattern used to determine PSD, which is calculated on the basis of equivalent spherical diameter. For instance, it has been established that the reported size of an ellipsoid is always smaller than the physical major dimension of the particle. Furthermore, when non-spherical particles align within a flowing sample, laser diffraction instruments typically report a bi-modal size distribution even in the case of monodisperse samples.
Equipped with only qualitative knowledge of particle shape, the particle analyst can resolve this inherent ambiguity and use laser diffraction to obtain quantitative information (such as aspect ratio) about non-spherical particles. This webinar explains the origin of this effect, describes how to interpret PSD data in such cases, and demonstrates several practical applications for measurements of crystals, bacteria, and clays.

Porosity and the Magnetic Properties of Aluminium Doped Nickel Ferrite
The nanocrystalline particles of Aluminium Al doped nickel Ni ferrites with general formula NiAlxFe2 xO4 x = 0.0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.0 were synthesized by sol gel auto combustion technique. The formation of single phase cubic spinel was confirmed by X ray diffraction analyses. Morphological features of the samples are studied by Scanning Electron Microscopy SEM to examine the particle size, shape and homogeneity of sample. The magnetic hysteresis graphs were obtained to understand their magnetic behaviours. The relative permeability µr of AlNi ferrite samples shows a decrease for all samples as Al content increases. The study investigated the release of nano-sized particles from a carbon black solution when heated. Measurements found that a large number of particles 50-100 nm in size were released at temperatures of 65-70°C, likely due to condensation and water droplet evaporation. Analysis showed the majority of particles emitted were in the nano-scale range of 50-100 nm. Further research will explore how mechanical forces additionally impact particle release from heated liquid solutions.

Talbot Interferometry to estimate focal length

Interpreting Laser Diffraction Results for Non-Spherical Particles
Particle shape can have a profound impact on particle size distribution (PSD) measurements. In the case of Laser Diffraction, the shape and aspect ratio of particles alter the diffraction pattern used to determine PSD, which is calculated on the basis of equivalent spherical diameter. For instance, it has been established that the reported size of an ellipsoid is always smaller than the physical major dimension of the particle. Furthermore, when non-spherical particles align within a flowing sample, laser diffraction instruments typically report a bi-modal size distribution even in the case of monodisperse samples.
Equipped with only qualitative knowledge of particle shape, the particle analyst can resolve this inherent ambiguity and use laser diffraction to obtain quantitative information (such as aspect ratio) about non-spherical particles. This webinar explains the origin of this effect, describes how to interpret PSD data in such cases, and demonstrates several practical applications for measurements of crystals, bacteria, and clays.

Porosity and the Magnetic Properties of Aluminium Doped Nickel Ferrite
The nanocrystalline particles of Aluminium Al doped nickel Ni ferrites with general formula NiAlxFe2 xO4 x = 0.0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.0 were synthesized by sol gel auto combustion technique. The formation of single phase cubic spinel was confirmed by X ray diffraction analyses. Morphological features of the samples are studied by Scanning Electron Microscopy SEM to examine the particle size, shape and homogeneity of sample. The magnetic hysteresis graphs were obtained to understand their magnetic behaviours. The relative permeability µr of AlNi ferrite samples shows a decrease for all samples as Al content increases. 2) Different methods for synthesizing silver nanoparticles were explored and nanoparticles were used to significantly enhance, by at least a factor of 90, the Raman signal of a test molecule (crystal violet).
3) For future work, the researchers want to use the silver nanoparticles to enhance Raman scattering from quantum dots to study heat transport in these nanomaterials.

The study investigated the release of nano-sized particles from a carbon black solution when heated. Measurements found that a large number of particles 50-100 nm in size were released at temperatures of 65-70°C, likely due to condensation and water droplet evaporation. Analysis showed the majority of particles emitted were in the nano-scale range of 50-100 nm. Further research will explore how mechanical forces additionally impact particle release from heated liquid solutions.

This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
