Production Roles
The production roles helped us a lot within our team
as it allowed us to put specific people in charge of
specific things.
Ellis was able to act as the Director where should was responsible for overseeing the creative aspects
of a film, including controlling the content and flow of the film's plot. We knew Ellis would be very
good at this role as she does preforming arts and music so she was really able to direct the
performances of the acting as she is an actress herself.
Ellis also took the role of being The story producer. She was responsible for creating a story line via
editing/producing the show's source footage. She also did the dialogue.
Ellis played as the scipt co-ordinator where was responsible for producing each draft of the script
and annotating it for ease of use for the production team.
Dom was able to act as the Producer where he initiates, coordinates, supervises, and controls matters
such as raising funding, hiring key personnel, contracting and arranging for distributors. Dom was
involved throughout all phases of the process from development to completion of a project. We thought
Dom would be very good as the Producer as he is quite busy and takes subject that relates to what he
had to do.
Dom also played as the Director of Photography/Cinematographer were he was the head of the camera
and lighting department of the film. He made decisions on lighting and framing of scenes in conjunction.
Dom was also the Film Editor who would Assemble the various shots into a coherent film, working closely
with the director.
I played as the screenwriter were I was responsible for researching the story, developing the
narrative, writing the screenplay, and delivering it, in the required format, to the Producers We
decided to choose me for this part as I do a lot of writing at home and I love writing!
I also played as the script editor where I would using their analytical skills identify problems and
thereby help to strengthen and develop the screenplay.
I played as the Set Dresser who would set the dressers apply and remove the "dressing", i.e.,
furniture, drapery, carpets—everything one would find in a location, even doorknobs and wall sockets
