Possible storylines 
• A romantic couple are split apart from each other because of their 
busy lives and this causes a lot of conflict, eventually the couple 
realise that they are soul mates and re-unite with each other. 
• A man is madly in love with the female protagonist and he seeks his 
females friends help in getting her to love him back, the girl only 
helps him as she is madly in love with him, towards the end the male 
main actor realises he actually has fallen in love with the friend. 
• Two lovers are split apart because of a war and the man has to leave, 
the two write to each other but slowly fall apart and break up, when 
they are much older the man finds his love and they are re-united.
Possible settings 
• Romantic beach setting 
• Busy city setting (costa or shopping) 
• Park setting were the two can go on a 
romantic walk 
• Bedroom setting 
• Dinner setting – restaurant or home 
dinner table 
• House party
Possible Mise-en-scene 
• Girly costume design when filming such as pink/red dresses and lots 
of jewellery to keep the girl conventional to stereotypes. 
• Use of high key lighting in romantic settings especially in two shots of 
the two main actors. 
• Girly feminine bags throughout the whole film and in any scenes
Possible sound 
• Girly non diegetic music in the background fast paced to keep 
audience happy when watching. 
• Sound may get louder on scenes where there is conflict to link the use 
of sound with the narrative of the trailer. 
• Use of dialog filmed after and added in after to have clear sounding 
dialog 
• Use of ambient sounds such as birds tweeting in the background.
Possible camerawork 
• Use of close up to so emotions 
• Use of two shots to show the emotions between the two main actors 
• Use of low and high angles to show the dominance of the characters between 
the conflict 
• Use of over the shoulder when showing the two communication.
