Objectives: This research work is to examine the partial replacement of cement in concrete mistreatment rice husk ash. It involved the study of strength properties of the concrete with totally different proportions of rice husk ash as partial replacement in cement. Methods: The major problem sweet-faced by the globe nowadays is that the environmental pollution. In the industry, mainly the production of cement can cause the emission of pollutants that includes a nice impact on atmosphere. This can be reduced by the magnified usage of business by-products within the industry. Findings: In this present study, to produce the concrete, Portland cement is partially substituted with Rice husk ash. Different ratios of partial replacement is done like 1/3, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, and 25% is taken to prepare completely different mixes. The concrete specimens are tested for their compressive strength, split tensile strength take a look at and flexural strength test at the age of seven and twenty eight days.

replacement for concrete (5 to 15%).This paper evaluates how different contents of Rice Husk Ash
added to concrete may influence its properties. In this study, cement was replaced by waste RHA as
5%,10% and 15% by weight for M-25 mix. The concrete specimens were tested for compressive
strength, durability (water absorption) and density at 28 days of age and the results obtained were
compared with those of normal concrete. The results concluded the permissibility of using waste RHA
as partial replacement of cement up to 10% by weight of cement

To mitigate emission of carbon dioxide and other green gases, it is necessary to develop alternative ways by which sustainable development can be improved. This paper discusses various combination of cement with hypo sludge and different size of aggregates. Hypo sludge has a very good content of Cao and thus it works as a partial replacement material in construction process. This study examines 5%, 10%, and 15% replacement of hypo sludge in place of cement in concrete for M20 and then tested for its compressive strength. The result shows that the strength of the concrete increases by adding hypo sludge up to 10%. However, further increase in hypo sludge decreases the compressive strength. Also, rate analysis has been done which concludes that the rate of the concrete decreases on replacing the cement with hypo sludge. The aim of this study is to make eco-friendly building material and to see how the concrete behaves on replacing the cement with the hypo sludge in various proportions. This study also examines the possibility of utilization of hypo sludge as a partial replacement material and it can be further used as cementitious material. It also helps with the disposal and pollution problems associated with paper industry waste

Compressive strength test was carried out on 150x150x150mm3 concrete cube after 7, 14, and 28 days curing. It was observed that optimum content of CDA and RHA is 5% at that content maximum compressive strength is achieved. While workability decreases when increasing % of CDA and RHA in concrete and setting time also increases by increasing replacement in cement. Bonding performances are always a combination of multiple
factors, such as mechanical, chemical or electrostatic
interactions. Bonding is a matter of interface, as the adhesive
has to adhere well to the substrates to be bonded. Therefore,
the surface conditions of the parts to be bonded are a critical
factor in achieving a dependable quality bond.
Huntsman industrial adhesives are high performance
adhesives which adhere firmly to most materials. High
strength bonds can be obtained after removal of grease and
loose particles, e.g. rust, from the surfaces to be joined.
However, when maximum strength and long-term durability
are required, a more thorough mechanical or a chemical
surface pretreatment is highly recommended.
The type of surface preparation to be carried out prior to
bonding depends on the expected performances (Figures
18, 19 and 20), the service conditions of the assembly and
economic considerations (ratio costs / benefits).

The field of Information retrieval (IR) is currently undergoing a transformative shift, at least partly due to the emerging applications of generative AI to information access. In this talk, we will deliberate on the sociotechnical implications of generative AI for information access. We will argue that there is both a critical necessity and an exciting opportunity for the IR community to re-center our research agendas on societal needs while dismantling the artificial separation between the work on fairness, accountability, transparency, and ethics in IR and the rest of IR research. Instead of adopting a reactionary strategy of trying to mitigate potential social harms from emerging technologies, the community should aim to proactively set the research agenda for the kinds of systems we should build inspired by diverse explicitly stated sociotechnical imaginaries. The sociotechnical imaginaries that underpin the design and development of information access technologies needs to be explicitly articulated, and we need to develop theories of change in context of these diverse perspectives. Our guiding future imaginaries must be informed by other academic fields, such as democratic theory and critical theory, and should be co-developed with social science scholars, legal scholars, civil rights and social justice activists, and artists, among others.

This approach encourages minor, intentional adjustments in user behaviour to enrich the data available for system learning. This paper introduces epistemic interaction within the context of human-system communication, illustrating how deliberate interaction design can improve system understanding and adaptation. Through concrete examples, we demonstrate the potential of epistemic interaction to significantly advance human-computer interaction by leveraging intuitive human communication strategies to inform system design and functionality, offering a novel pathway for enriching user-system engagements.

Always test each concrete surface for suitability and desired results.
Let surface dry before inspec on and approval of desired applica on.
DRS-FLOOR HDSP can be used on old trowelled and/or grinded, polished
concrete surfaces. Before applying the DRS-FLOOR HDSP collect the dust
from the surface (wet cleaning is recommended). Make sure, that water is
fully removed from the surface.
Before applying DRS-FLOOR HDSP the surface must dry completely!!!
DRS-FLOOR HDSP should be always applied as a final coa ng. All foregoing
steps of mechanical surface processing (grinding, polishing) should be
completed before surface treatment with DRS-FLOOR HDSP.
Shake well DRS-FLOOR HDSP before using. The best way of applica on of
DRS-FLOOR HDSP is spraying over the surface. We recommend to use a
hand sprayer. DRS-FLOOR HDSP must be sprayed in the quan ty to form an
equal layer without puddles.
On rough, non-trowelled surfaces we recommend to let the compound soak
into the concrete and roll the surface using roller with a fiber mop. A er
spreading DRS-FLOOR HDSP on well-leveled and dense surfaces, the
solu on must be dispersed using special microfiber mop. The op mal
quan ty of sprayed DRS-FLOOR HDSP should form on the surface a uniform
film, which dries within 20 minutes.
For be er results 1-2 addi onal coats of DRS-FLOOR HDSP are
recommended. Before applying the next coat let the previous coat dry for
30-60 minutes (important!!!) and a er that apply the next coat like
described above. Mul ple thin coats are not recommended!
You can reach significant improvement of concrete hardness and gloss level
a er treatment with DRS-FLOOR HDSP by further polishing of the surface
with high speed polishing machine DBB-700 using pads DRS-Clean-S-PAD
(Nature Light) or DRS-HiSpeed-PAD (#3000). Each coat of DRS-FLOOR HDSP
should be polished with DBB-700 about 60 minutes a er treatment, when
the surface dried completely.

Stain resistance
All liquids men oned below were applied on the concrete surface treated with DRS-FLOOR HDSP. A er stated delay
the surface was cleaned with pH-neutral cleaner. Stain resistance was scored from 0 to 10, where 10 means stain
could be completely removed and 0 means no change of stain level.
