Pro- Life Abortion
The act of having an abortion is inherently wrong and is damaging emotionally and
physically. Statistically, the majority of women who have abortions for a variety of unjust
reasons.. Abortion weighs a potential mother with emotional and physical burdens. One of the
reasons it is so controversial is because it is the death of unborn babies. Another reason it is so
controversial is because many argue in the case of incest or rape. IF YOU GUYS WANT TO
ADD ANYTHING GO AHEAD : ]
In the United States alone, there are about 3,700 abortions A DAY! 52% of abortions are
women 25 years old and younger. 64% of women who have abortions have never been married.
Many people support abortion because of the argument of rape or incest, but only 1% of
abortions is from rape or incest. As a matter of fact, 94% of women have abortions because they
simply do not want a child. “It wasn’t even a baby” is the excuse for abortion, but in fact by day
22 the fetus’s heart is beating. Some women don’t even know they are pregnant until about day
30. When considering abortion, no one considers the emotional factors of an abortion. 92% of
women who have abortions feel less in touch with their feelings. The factors just mentioned
should be taken into consideration before a women considers having an abortion.
This is a story from a girl named Tonya who had an abortion and regretted it. She posted
her story on a site with abortion stories. Tonya’s 19-year-old boyfriend, Bob, impregnated her at
age 18. They were both very young and not ready to have a baby, but she didn’t want to give up
the life inside of her. Tonya’s family was Catholic and against abortions. Tonya talked to Bob
and some of his friends who encouraged her to have an abortion, no matter what her view was on
it. She went through the long, painful abortion on October of 2000. She explained how it must
have been horrible because they gave her a something to relax and still remembered telling them
that it hurt. Soon after Tonya suffered from depression and felt emptiness inside. She was having
some problems so she went to the doctor to find out that she had scaring from the abortion. The
doctor said that because of the scars she might never be able to have kids. So pretty much
abortion affects you for the rest of your life. As a matter of fact 98% of women regretted having
had an abortion.
