Universal design for learning (UDL) aims to remove barriers from education by providing multiple means of engagement, representation, and action and expression. UDL is based on research showing the brain has three neural networks for recognition, strategic thinking, and affect. Informatics curricula in three Baltic states
In the early 1990s after the fall of the Soviet Union, the three Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania each developed their own approach to teaching informatics in schools. Estonia moved towards integrating informatics as a cross-curricular theme and offering optional courses, while Lithuania maintained informatics as a compulsory standalone subject. Latvia adopted elements of both Estonia and Lithuania's models, requiring basic digital literacy courses and making an advanced informatics course optional for STEM-focused students. Over time, Estonia has continued refining its curriculum to emphasize programming, project-based learning, and preparing students for the digital workplace.

Students saw school as necessary but boring, though they valued social aspects. Teachers must leverage technology's potential while addressing problematic learning behaviors it could enable.

Promoting Female Students Interests in Studying with Educational Technology
Numerous studies have discussed gender differences in technology education, and have demonstrated that male students have more confidence in using technology than do female students. Female students’ lack of interest is due to the pedagogical approaches favoring male values. By contrast, no previous research on the integration of technology in English as a foreign language has investigated gender differences and the level of confidence of students in using technology in the classroom. This study aims to investigate the perceptions of students’ use of technology in the field of English applied foreign languages and check their perceptions about the use of computer technology. For this purpose, students enrolled in a conventional class of second year license degree in Applied Foreign Languages were interviewed and answered a questionnaire. The results of this study show that female students are highly likely to gain more confidence when given activities that match their learning interests.

Strijker & Fisser (2019 06-27) A future-proof curriculum with digital literacy
In November 2014, the State Secretary for Education, Culture and Science of the Netherlands officially launched an online country-wide consultation about the future of Dutch education. Based on the outcomes and the ongoing debate, the Netherlands started the development of a new curriculum framework for primary and secondary education in 2018. One of the new themes in this curriculum is Digital Literacy, which is defined as a combination of ICT skills, media literacy, information literacy and computational thinking. Together with the other subjects (Dutch, Arithmetic/mathematics, English/modern foreign languages, Citizenship, Exercise & Sport, Art & Culture, Human & Nature, Human & Society) Digital Literacy will be part of the design of the new curriculum. A teacher design team for Digital Literacy developed a vision and elaborated this in eight so-called big ideas. Based on the big ideas learning trajectories were designed. These learning trajectories describe what students should learn in primary and secondary education.
Town Hall Meeting: Trekking the Education Landscape
This document summarizes a town hall meeting about trends in education based on the Speak Up research project. Healing is the body’s response to injury in an attempt to restore normal structure and functions.
Healing can occur in two ways: Regeneration and Repair
There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.
Complications of wound healing like infection, hyperpigmentation of scar, contractures, and keloid formation.
