In this assignment I created a professional mock press release that I would release on behalf of my artist before her album release.

ORLANDO ARTIST SET TO RELEASE ALBUM
Orlando, FL (January 1, 2021) - Orlando artist, Tessa Marie, announced she’s in the
midst of releasing her first debut album in April of 2021. Her album will be made available on
Spotify, iTunes, Bandcamp, and Youtube!
Tessa Marie has been releasing singles and EPs dating back all the way to 2016. Her
songs “Play Pretend” and “Daydreams” were released in September of 2016. Those songs got
her over 5k listens on bandcamp and that’s where her music career initially started. Since then
she’s been releasing singles or EPs every couple of months, but she’s yet to release an album yet!
Not only will her fans finally get their first album from her, but they’ll also be able to see
her start performing again soon! Unfortunately with the ongoing pandemic we currently have
she won’t be able to do live performances, but she will be holding concerts on her Instagram live
once her album drops! “There’s nothing better in this world than being able to connect with
people while you’re performing your music, I miss it so much! That’s why I want to perform
again, even if it’s behind a camera to an online audience. Performing is what keeps artists
going!”, says Tessa Marie. Once her album is out, she said she’ll be making Instagram posts
about when she’ll hold her live concerts!
Tessa Marie’s music is the perfect mixture of Taylor Swift’s relatability with Adele’s
raw, emotional touch. Her voice has a genuine, raw touch that’s simply unmatched. Other than
being a singer, she’s also an incredibly talented songwriter and guitarist. Her songs capture the
attention of many due to the passionate, universal messages she has throughout her music that
everyone can relate to. She has deeply-thoughtful lyrics and explosive chorus’. Each song of
her’s is a new chance to feel heard and understood, her music a safe space for so many! For more
