Sharewood is a European marketplace that connects owners of sports equipment like bicycles and surfboards with travelers looking to rent gear, allowing owners to earn money renting unused items and travelers to have access to equipment anywhere. It aims to capitalize on the growing sharing economy and outdoor recreation market in Europe by facilitating equipment sharing between locals and visitors. The founders believe access to gear is replacing ownership as travelers increasingly seek affordable and sustainable outdoor experiences.
