The Brain does not reveal what the Mind is, and the Mind does not explain the Brain. We are looking in a mirror.
The Evolution is not only an event from the past; Evolution runs the past process entirely at any moment now.
Time is the mechanism which prevents that everything happens now.
The Fourier Transformation is probably the most remarkable bridge between Science and Philosophy.
Everything vibrates rhythmically.

The Nautilus Bowl at NY Consumer Electronics WeekShelly X
Inspired by the needs of people with hand conditions, the Nautilus Bowl features an ergonomic handle that reduces stress on painful joints and returns control to less coordinated hands.
This presentation was given by Shelly Ni and gaïa orain, finalists in the NYC Next Top Makers program, at NYC Consumer Electronics Week, Wednesday, April 26, 2013.
I started this presentation for a Toastmasters speech, but wanted to "flesh it out" a bit more. The main crux of the material relates a handful of stories about people who have forgiven others of horrible things, both at an individual level and even across a country. This is not meant to be prescriptive, but merely informational. I heard the story of the Matthew West song (http://www.matthewwest.com/the-stories/the-story-forgiveness/), which sparked my interest in the topic. I hope it is helpful.

Swami #Vivekananda Bengali: , Shāmi Bibekānondo; 12 January 1863 – 4 July 1902), born #Narendranath Datta, was an Indian Hindu monk, a chief disciple of the 19th-century Indian mystic Ramakrishna. He was a key figure in the introduction of the Indian philosophies of# Vedanta and #Yoga to the Western world and is credited with raising #interfaith awareness, bringing Hinduism to the status of a major world religion during the late 19th century. He was a major force in the revival of Hinduism in India, and contributed to the concept of nationalism in colonial India. Vivekananda founded the #Ramakrishna Math and the Ramakrishna Mission. He is perhaps best known for his speech which began, "Sisters and brothers of America ...," in which he introduced Hinduism at the Parliament of the World's Religions in Chicago in 1893.
Born into an aristocratic Bengali family of Calcutta, Vivekananda was inclined towards spirituality. He was influenced by his Guru, Ramakrishna Deva, from whom he learnt that all living beings were an embodiment of the divine self; therefore, service to God could be rendered by service to mankind. After Ramakrishna's death, Vivekananda toured the Indian subcontinent extensively and acquired first-hand knowledge of the conditions prevailing in British India. He later traveled to the United States, representing India at the 1893 Parliament of the World Religions. Vivekananda conducted hundreds of public and private lectures and classes, disseminating tenets of Hindu philosophy in the United States, England and Europe. In India, Vivekananda is regarded as a patriotic saint and his birthday is celebrated there as National Youth Day.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

This is a presentation by Dada Robert in a Your Skill Boost masterclass organised by the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan (EFSS) on Saturday, the 25th and Sunday, the 26th of May 2024.
He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.

1. The Void Through the human body
Published by Balboa Press
A book based on the principles of evolution and revolution, a
knowledge bound by the ethics of the universal law and a
philosophy based on humanity binds the void through the
human body.
10. “Life is a living experience, a phenomenalism of solipsism, a
compassionate appreciation of emotions, circulating in coils of
atmospheric moods, shaping different perceptions of colours
through the conception of thought. Knowledge through wisdom has
the power to wander through many different spheres of intelligence,
though the differentiation will always remain distinct. This
conspicuous material world, which we all scrutinise, will always
remain an unpredictable system of hope. Yet, it is an unthinkable
conception, but the populace of society will always remain deceitful,
dishonest, and disloyal, this system will always remain
unchangeable. The feeling of emptiness and the sound of
nothingness is the complexity of the soul, but how do these
principles form the most powerful understandings of the universal
law?
11. “And why does the human body experience the trepidation of
darkness, and why do the spirits time and again gloom and linger
the wonder of illusions within the self that taunts the human mind
vigorously? How do these spirits teach us to reflect, and why are
they so immovable in showing us the true path of humanity? Where
do we go when we fail this world of lost hope? What is deep within
us that keeps us in wonder, what is deep within the human body
that makes the human soul survive within these two worlds of
existence?
12. “Hence, this other world is an ineffable realm, yet unseeable but
sensory to the atmosphere and comprehensibly mystifying, is this
world a place to be?
13. “This world will always remain distinct, unquestionable and
indisputably precise towards the common-sensical systems of the
universal laws and of the self. This other world is unshakable, it’s a
world of principles, order and precision towards the meticulousness of
the mind, soul and spirit; there is no right or wrong but only a journey
of wonder reflecting wisdom through the intellectual spheres of
knowledge. But what a place to see, past the shadow of illusion
through this other world, there is a place to see, you haven’t lived if
you haven’t witnessed this circulating realm of realisation towards the
true existence of life. Nonetheless, all is witnessed in the void through
the human body.
14. “There is something within us that keeps us in wonder, and why
does philosophy begin in such wonder? We all live to question life
and life’s atmosphere, but what is within us, that always keeps us in
wonder?”
15. About the book
The void through the human body is an astounding manuscript regarding the
knowledge of spiritual science that implements the reasoning of divine
intervention, and how it manipulates inside the human body?
Furthermore, why, humans wonder about this existence of knowledge, and why the
concept of human suffering influences this expedition? The complex system of this
knowledge has been made easy to understand, as an individual spiritual
progression between God and human. Therefore this is not a religious
congregation; it is a reflection of individuality. By using the elements of the
earth, through the human body, we can elevate the principles of evolution and
revolution to strain through both worlds of the material and spiritual. What is
more, through these worlds comes the knowledge of mediation. Therefore, the
journey of this knowledge pledges the whole conceptions of the universe, where
this philosophy ascends into the universe and descends into the human body.
Therefore, the written content of this philosophy transcends in the same formation
to elaborate this knowledge to continually flow within this mountain of thought.
16. The spiritual science of this book
The vital principal knowledge of this science forms around the energies of
evolution and revolution. These are the positive and negative constitutions
of time and space. Consequently, this knowledge drives the influence of
change, in various ways. The ties between these two principles are part of
these circulating energies within our atmosphere. Where these small
particles of positive and negative energies, dominate to transform within
the world and within the human body. This would therefore, conclude
through the principles of evolution and revolution. Thereby, these
energies allow us to question information through the chakra system that
allows us to understand society and the affects within our civilisation.
17. Author bio
Well after my final year studying interior-architecture, in 2004. The first
insinuation of writing the void through the human body instigated. Thereby, at
this time, The Void Through The Human Body was a final project. However the
thought process of this thesis had yet to surface. Furthermore, the stirrings of
these cognitive perceiving‟s came, after a strange experience that occurred at
the age of nineteen, and these early stirrings was the beginning of a spiritual
understanding. Over a period of ten years The Void Through The Human Body
was constructed with years of research, observance, perceiving‟s and
pondering. Philosophy in its original form is built in this principle.
Therefore, through your own isolation, views and reflections, knowledge forms
and creates. Written in the west midlands, in a comfortable simple
environment, with the knowledge of both the material and spiritual worlds
begins this exportation of a spiritual science within the human body.
