Wodzislaw Slaski is a city in southern Poland located in the Raciborz Valley along the Lesznicą river. The city has around 49,386 inhabitants and is divided into 9 districts. Mieczyslaw Kieca is the current mayor. The city has a gorgeous market and is home to the Odra Wodzislaw football team. Some notable landmarks include the historic parish church, a medieval monastery now housing the district court, a 1745 palace now used for the university and a museum, and the city's public library.
