The Avram Iancu School was founded in 1978 and originally known as School number 14 until changing its name in 1997. It has 14 classrooms, 10 cabinets, 2 laboratories, a library and a gym. Every school year, the school organizes various academic and cultural contests, shows, trips, and partnerships with schools in Hungary and Poland. Beginning in the current school year, the school also focuses on environmental sustainability as an eco-school.
