TWITTER USER… I am a huge Twitter user. Of course like most network-based websites, I originally started using Twitter to keep in touch with friends and social. I never realized Twitter would be such a great tool to use as a pre-service teacher. I tweet with several educators, even with my past teachers from elementary and high school. --Krystal W.
TWITTER & TEACHERS Ask for recommended books, lesson plans, etc… Ask for help or get advice with a professional question Tweet about a helpful website or resource to help other educators Provide daily tips (word of the day or book of the day) Celebrate timely events (American History dates, events/holidays) Tweet about your school and its website Share photos of your classroom and what goes on Share teaching humor Get other educators involved Respond and answer other people’s questions Make personal connections with other educators Invited people to come and speak at your events at your school Post or find summer work/openings Join a Twibe Link to a book trailer Share new studies of interests
MY OPINION This article was very informative with several examples and ideas how to use Twitter as a teacher. The ideas listed were easy to understand and made complete sense. I can see Twitter becoming a huge site for educators to come together for a better cause as well as creative ideas and collaboration.

MY OPINION This article included a lot of information about how networking websites, Twitter in this particular case, can be used in classrooms today. Technology continues to change and become more advanced. Because of this, it is important that teachers keep up to date with the new technologies and create easier, faster, and more accessible information.
