Employee empowerment involves trust, authority, information sharing, decision-making, accountability, and responsibility. This study examines the relationship between employee empowerment, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction among 100 employees of BSP using a questionnaire and convenient sampling. The researcher hypothesizes that there is a significant positive relationship between empowerment and organizational commitment as well as between empowerment and job satisfaction. Correlation coefficients will be used to establish the relationship between the variables.

Relational motivation includes motivation from close others (relationally autonomous reasons or RARs) and motivation from oneself (personally autonomous reasons or PARs). The study found that RARs predicted career search effort, but student status and parental status did not predict differences in motivation or effort. Specifically, higher RARs were associated with greater career search effort, but traditional and non-traditional students and parents/non-parents did not differ in their motivation or efforts. The results provide partial support for the hypotheses.

This moderating effect was mediated by changes in employee perceptions of supportive supervisor behaviors. The findings suggest interventions may need to target those most in need of support to be effective.

Problem:
The local police department in Somewhere USA has been losing officers at an alarming rate. This medium sized city offers a competitive salary and funds recruits to train at the local community college. The total cost of recruiting and training a new hire was estimated to be $12,000. The leadership was alarmed and conducted exit interviews to determine the reasons for such high turnover. The major issues cited were lack of support for personal issues, no recognition for good performance, no punishment for those violating rules, poor communication, favoritism, lack of opportunity for advancement, and inflexible scheduling. The leadership desperately wanted to turn this around.
Motivation and Job Satisfaction related to Job Performance
Job performance has been portrayed as a combination of ability and motivation. Because motivation is a personal force, the level of motivation of others cannot be readily measured. Scholars recognize that employees’ attitudes and perceptions toward their jobs strongly affect their job performance. However, motivation may be difficult to measure and may not be directly linked to an increase in performance. One fact research has uncovered is that the organizational environment in which people work has a significant influence on their attitudes. Without a positive, supporting environment dissatisfaction will occur. Performance has been linked to motivation, ability, and working conditions. Satisfaction has been positively related to job performance. The Hawthorne studies at Western Electric was a major contribution to the field because it discovered evidence that productive worker are satisfied worker, not that happy workers were productive workers. Thus, organizational attitudes and cultures were seen as a more important aspect than individual workers.
Many motivational and job satisfaction theories have emerged in organizational research. Work motivation has internal and external forces that affect behaviors at work to determine intensity and duration. It deals merely with events associated with attitudes while at work. There are numerous definitions for job satisfaction including an individual’s positive or negative attitude toward their job, positive feelings about one’s job based on their evaluation of the job characteristics, or the collection of feelings and beliefs that individuals have about their jobs. Job satisfaction is defined from the employee’s standpoint as a positive emotional state that results from appraising one’s job.

Managerial psychology is a sub-discipline of industrial and organizational psychology, which focuses on the efficacy of individuals, groups and organizations in the workplace. It's purpose is to specifically aid managers in gaining a better understanding of the psychological patterns common among individuals and groups within any given organisation. Managerial psychology can be used to predict and prevent harmful psychological patterns within the workplace and can also be implemented to control psychological patterns among individuals and groups in a way that will benefit the organisation long term.
HRM
1. There are two general categories of motivation theories - content theories and process theories. Content theories identify internal factors like needs that motivate employees, while process theories examine how cognitions and perceptions influence motivation.
2. Popular content theories discussed include Maslow's hierarchy of needs, ERG theory, McClelland's need for achievement/affiliation/power theories, and Herzberg's motivator-hygiene theory. Process theories covered are equity theory, expectancy theory, and goal-setting theory.
3. Job design approaches aim to motivate employees through job enrichment, enlargement, rotation, and the job characteristics model. Biological and perceptual motor approaches focus on work environment factors like physical strain and human factors engineering.
Job satisfaction

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Employees’ productivity is largely related to their level of job satisfaction and in fact, the turnover rate can be reduced with a higher level of organizational commitment. Therefore, it is important for an organization to study the relationships between these two variables. The database was collected from the organization through a well-structured questionnaire. The questionnaire consists of personal data, Questions related to the dimension organization commitment and job satisfaction in Selected BPOs in Tiruchirappalli. Hence the sample size for the study is 110 respondents by adopting Purposive sampling technique.

This study examined how satisfying psychological needs for autonomy, competence, and relatedness as defined by self-determination theory can distinguish between motivating and demotivating work experiences. Researchers interviewed blue-collar employees from two Australian companies about times they felt motivated and demotivated at work. Transcripts were coded for evidence of these three needs and financial incentives. Results showed motivating experiences correlated with higher satisfaction of autonomy, competence, and relatedness, while financial incentives did not distinguish between experiences. This supports the hypothesis that satisfying these psychological needs leads to more intrinsic motivation and well-being at work.

This study aimed to identify the relationship between organizational space (organizational structure,
corporate responsibility, corporate support and productivity management) with senior administration
identity of corporate managers of West Azerbaijan. 150 standardized questionnaires were distributed
among population and 100 questionnaires were returned to test hypotheses. According to normal data, the
Pearson correlation coefficient used to determine the type and extent of the relationship between the
variables. The results show there is a direct relationship between corporate responsibility, productivity
management, organizational support and corporate identity. However, a significant relationship between
the dimensions of organizational structure and corporate identity does not exist. So we suggest that serious
efforts should be made in General Offices in West Azerbaijan by exercising efficiently management and
developing appropriate organizational space (with respect to the liability of agents, productivity
management and organizational support) in order to improve organizational identity administration.
Employee retention
A study was conducted to determine why employees stay with their companies. A survey was distributed to 114 employees to rate statements about their work environment. Responses were analyzed in three groups based on whether respondents expected to stay with their company in three years. The results showed common highly rated statements across groups related to benefits, autonomy, and importance of work. Time with the company correlated with expecting to stay. The study provides initial support for using profiles to identify retention risks but had limitations due to its small sample size and specific demographics. Continued research was recommended.
Poster
This study investigated factors that helped or hindered employee wellbeing when facing poor leadership in the workplace. The researcher interviewed 8 participants who experienced poor leadership and were able to maintain their wellbeing. The interviews identified 7 categories of factors: personal qualities and attitudes, stress management, social support, problem solving, workplace support, communication, and work experience. The results suggest employee wellbeing is impacted by personal behaviors as well as workplace support, and employees largely rely on themselves to protect their wellbeing despite challenges presented by organizational leadership. Counselors can help clients by promoting adaptive attitudes, perceptions, and responses to adverse workplace situations, as well as utilizing social support as a resource.

This study investigated the effectiveness of two types of employee motivation policies - pay-for-performance (PFP) and employee involvement in organizational leadership (EIOL) - on young workers aged 18-25. An experimental study was conducted to compare the impact of each policy type on motivation levels. The results showed that EIOL policies were favored over PFP policies, especially among female participants. The level of information provided about the PFP policies was also found to significantly affect motivation levels, with more information leading to higher motivation. The study recommends implementing EIOL policies and keeping employees well-informed about motivation policies to improve outcomes.

An empirical knowledge gap has been observed regarding the relationship between organizational commitment and employee job performance of Administrative Officers in University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka. Therefore, in order to fill this empirical knowledge gap, this study was carried out with the objectives of explores the relationship between organizational commitment and job performance and explores the impact of organizational commitment on job performance of Administrative Officers in University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka. The data of this study have been collected from 40 Administrative Officers in University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka through the structured questionnaire. The data were analysed with univariate and bivariate analyses using SPSS 19.0. Findings of the study stated that there is a medium positive relationship between organizational commitment and job performance. And also findings of the study stated that organizational commitment has significant impact on employee performance. This study suggested that organizational commitment of the employees can improve employees’ job performance.Scope of leadership

This study makes an attempt to analyse the determinants of ‘work-family’ balance related factor for Women Corporate Governance professionals in India. ‘Maslow Pyramid’ was utilized to assess the motivation of women joining Corporate Governance profession in India. The job satisfaction of the respondents and its association with ‘Family domain’ and ‘Work domain’ related variables was also assessed. The sample of the study was collected through a structured questionnaire from 200 women professionals having membership of Institute of Company Secretaries of India during the period November, 2017 – January, 2018. An empirical analysis was made on the data using statistical techniques of the Friedman Rank Test and Kendall's Tau Coefficient. The findings of the study reveal that need for ‘Achievement’ and ‘Affiliation’ are the key determinants for choosing Corporate Governance profession by women Company Secretaries in India. Furthermore, the level of job satisfaction was found associated with ‘family domain’ related and ‘work domain’ related variables. The study finds its relevance as this is ‘one of its kind’ study for exploring motivational factors of women Corporate Governance professionals in India and forms the base for further research in the area.

Organizational commitment predicts work variables such as and some of the factors such as role stress, empowerment, job insecurity and distribution of have been shown to be connected to a worker's sense of organizational commitment. Job satisfaction is commonly defined as the extent to which employees like their work. Satisfaction has also been examined under various demographics of gender, age, race, education, and work experience.
