Agriculture in India holds an very important part in
the flow of economy as it holds "56.6%" of the
employment
❖ Agriculture is key for economic transformation,
food security , and nutrition. ….Agriculture plays a
critical role in transforming economies to reach the
goal.
Agricultural crisis:-
The increased cost of cultivation, inadequate
Irrigation, drought, flood and crop failure all contribute
to the lack of viabilityin the farming profession and
debt of farmers
❖ Agricultural sector in India contributes only "18%"
of India's 'GDP' out of the 56.6%
