This document describes a proposed vehicle occupant detection and warning device invented by Tim Haskew. The device would measure CO2 levels and temperature inside a vehicle to detect if a child or pet is present without relying on active sensors. It would plug into a vehicle's existing power and use accelerometers and power sensors to detect if the vehicle is parked. If dangerous conditions are detected, it would trigger alarms, open windows, unlock doors, and alert vehicle owners. The technology provides passive detection of occupants and aims to save lives without the inconsistent results of current active sensor products.
