“GURUDEV” is famous not only in our country for his contribution
in the field of education, but all over the world.

• Rabindranath Tagore (7May 1861-7August1941)
• He was a Poet ,writer , philosopher , composer and painter.
• He was the first non European to win Nobel Prize In Literature
• He wrote the National Anthem of India and Bangladesh .
• He founded Santiniketan in 1901and Viswabharati University in 1921.
• He believed that the aim of education is self- realisation.
