This document discusses trainees care, which refers to ensuring that trainees or teaching exchangees (TEEs) have their expectations fulfilled during their project. It emphasizes the importance of good communication throughout the project from matching to departure. Specific aspects of trainees care discussed include preparing the trainees well during the preparation week, helping them with weekend plans, communicating with host families, and ensuring they have opportunities to feel welcomed and represented during events like the opening and closing ceremonies. The goal of trainees care is to help the TEEs have a positive experience so they provide good feedback that can benefit the local committee.

How Chunky Do You Need To Be?: Adaptive Content Strategies For The Real WorldChristopher Grant Ward
Okay, we get it. No more blobs. Make things chunky. Separate content from code.
But this is easier said than done.
Most content professionals work with small budgets or cope with big bureaucracies. We can't move forward on ideals alone. We need practical approaches (and dare we say, compromises) for implementing adaptive content in our day-to-day jobs. Instead of discussing in vain how to build perfect solutions, let's look closely at real-world case studies of people who have made tough calls and tradeoffs to move toward adaptive content in ways that solved actual problems.
Adaptive content requires a cultural shift in thinking, and along the way, we need to be able to allow ourselves some tradeoffs. Many situations today cannot realistically support, or even require, the chunkiest solution possible. When could a little WYSIWYG sometimes be a good thing? Is it heresy to allow the errant blob into your content management system for a special use case? As we defend the purity of content, it's also our responsibility as strategists to empower content creators to do their jobs well. Sure, the larger theory is exciting to think about, we'd like to talk more about the things we can actually start doing when we arrive to work the next morning.
In 2010, the OECD presented the Environmental performance review of Ireland. This review included 38 recommendations intended to contribute to further environmental progress in Ireland, to address issues such as water, air, biodiversity and international environmental co-operation.
Five years later, in March 2014, Ireland presented a mid-term review to the OECD Working party on Environmental performance. This mid-term review, a voluntary contribution, provides a timely opportunity to take stock of the progress made and the remaining challenges. Ireland's actions have included :
the reform of the waste sector,
the reform of the water sector,
the planned introduction of domestic water charge,
the introduction of a carbon tax,
substantial reform of the local government system.

Trainees care
Jakub Šnorbert, LC VP iGCDP, 2nd of July 2014
2. 2 of 15
What is TEEs care?
”ONLY HAPPY PEOPLE ARE ABLE TO FIND A
SOLUTION AND BRING RESULTS”
Trainees care is something that helps trainees to fulfill their expectations
from the project.
As TEEs care we can mark almost everything that is linked to the project and
influence our TEEs.
Key aspect of TEEs care is a good communication.
3. 3 of 15
Why to do TEEs care?
NPS is our tool for
measuring satisfaction of
our TEEs.
We are directly influenced
by their responses and we
can get a feedback from
them this way.
But it can be just a number!
Membership in AIESEC can
be our second goal of doing
good TEEs care, because I
believe we should be role
modeling during internship
our AIESEC experience and
help our TEEs to try this
experience in their country.
But how will we do it?
More people coming to our
LC is the reason which can
be directly influenced by
their joining AIESEC.
We can use our ranking and
new members to attract
more people for our LC.
How can we influence it?
5. 5 of 15
How to do TEEs care?
NPS is really important for
international Exchange and
in the future it can influence
partnership of your LCs.
• Session about NPS
• Setting up comm
• Everything we do
Membership in AIESEC in
their country isn’t so
important for us, but we
cannot forgot on it.
• Joining LC members
• Joining TEEs in LC
• Comm with host LCs
• Debriefings
More people coming to our
LC is something that we all
want. But they need to
know why to come there.
• Recomendations
• Making extra materials
• Staying in touch
• Recruiting for us (as @)

segment of TEEs. They know they can ask him what they need
and he/she will help them.
• Doesn’t need to be matcher

How we do TEEs care?
Host families communication – business cards are delivered
to host families on delivery to school
• They send their number and can call anytime
• Small present at the end and filling form
Internet connection – Most important for TEEs :D
• Inform families about it
• Find them places with free WiFi
Mobile phones – even they dont want to have Czech SIM
cards sometimes, it is really useful to have chance to call them
• Give them numbers of whole team
• They can call anytime (to someone)

Even media appearence can help!
„Let them feel they are stars.“
Our TEEs were really thrilled by the fact
that they were something as a stars during
the project and that they were asked to
make an interview with TV and papers.
• Offer it as opportunity
• Make some materials with them
• Help them to be the stars
(Don’t be taking video with Indian girls
close to exercising boys – they are not able
to focus)

Happy schools make happy TEEs
Communication is one of
the most important things
during preparation and
realization of project.
Schools and TEEs must
know, that they can contact
you anytime with their
problem.
Solve every problem!!!
Professionalism is second
thing that is really important
for our stakeholders. We are
the first who is representing
AIESEC and we must be
professionals.
If we are not professional,
we can ruin work of our
TEEs.
Expectations and their
setting is probably the most
important part. We are the
one who is helping them
with it and we need to hold
them down from the
begining.
Low expectations make
awesome results.
14. 14 of 15
Don’t forget these things
Communicate with them from the begining
Help them with their expectations – inform them about school expectations
Don’t forget them at the airport
Remember on small details (PPT, Welcome board, certificates)
Make events for their whole group
Communicate with school about their ideas
Don’t let schools to spoil them, BUT try to help them as much as possible
Show them how is it to be AIESECer
Let them feel they are welcome here
Set up some rules together and let TEEs obey them

Thanks for listening
