This document describes a tunnel boring machine (TBM) monitoring and operation system called Robotec developed by Enzan-Koubo Japan. The system includes features for: 1. Data logging and monitoring of operational data from the TBM. 2. Guidance navigation for the TBM using survey calculations to ensure alignment. 3. Remote monitoring of TBM operation. The system utilizes hardware such as a total station, prisms, and inclinometers installed on the TBM to automatically collect survey data and calculate the TBM's position in relation to the design tunnel alignment.
