Satpal Singh created a magazine to provide cheap tourist information for visiting London. He took photos at a studio and on location to include in the magazine. Some photos were edited to improve their appearance: one was brightened and had increased saturation; another was cropped to focus on Big Ben; a third had the background removed to highlight the model; and others were brightened, sharpened, and had increased saturation to make them more eye-catching. Singh presented before and after edits of 10 photos to show the changes made for the magazine.

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

Putting the SPARK into Virtual Training.pptxCynthia Clay
This 60-minute webinar, sponsored by Adobe, was delivered for the Training Mag Network. It explored the five elements of SPARK: Storytelling, Purpose, Action, Relationships, and Kudos. Knowing how to tell a well-structured story is key to building long-term memory. Stating a clear purpose that doesn't take away from the discovery learning process is critical. Ensuring that people move from theory to practical application is imperative. Creating strong social learning is the key to commitment and engagement. Validating and affirming participants' comments is the way to create a positive learning environment.

2. The magazine I have created is a magazine that provides
tourists visiting London with helpful information they
need to know when visiting the city. It will help them try
and keep their figures right down to a minimum as
visiting the city can be very expensive, so by using this it
will sort of be cheating and often undercutting the middle
man and helping families have a wonderful cheap
experience in London. To help me do this is will need to
use a variety of pictures that I have taken myself at a
studio shoot and a location shoot. A few of the images
have been edited so they look even better on the
magazine in this PowerPoint I will show you the before
and after shots of the images I have edited.

I have edited this image by cropping the size of it, as you can
see I have cropped the picture so the bird is not in the picture
which allows the viewer to simply focus on Big Ben. I cropped
this image so it would fit perfectly on my magazine front
cover. The picture I originally took was landscape, by cropping
it I turned it into a portrait which fits on my magazine.
