Tom and Mary are developing a design for a course project on computer supported collaborative interfaces. They discuss some initial bad ideas they had, such as a social necklace and boring coffee table. They then improve upon the ideas and propose designs for an interactive coffee table that allows users to choose and draw on topics, a magnetic bracelet that can be written on to record ideas or drawings, and a t-shirt that displays an automatic updating tag cloud from the wearer's blog reader.

2. Introduction Tom Mary Tom and Mary are colleagues. They study at university together. This week they have course in Computer Supported Collaborative Interfaces and they are developing a design by using a concept of Bad Ideas. These are the bad ideas they had:

4. Good Ideas Tom and Mary want to discuss the bad ideas, see what good ideas they can get and made some design proposal. They are meeting in the kitchen, at the new coffee table that faculty have recently provided. It is much better than the model they had before. Old one was showing on surface some predefined topics, that sometimes were interesting but most of the time boring.

5. Coffee table -interactive table -connected to network -people can choose topics that table shows, upload their own, and the best thing is they can draw on it.

6. Bracelet After the short discussion they had an idea about the bracelet that you can write on. While they were talking they made a drawing too.

Bracelet -small magnetic board that fits your forearm it contains: -easily attachable pen and -eraser – by moving it from one side to another you erase the content of the board It can be used -if you have some idea, inspiration that you do not want to forget, you can write it down -also some facts, information, hard to memorize for some meeting -if you can not describe something to your colleagues with words, you can make a simple drawing

8. T-shirt -Tom and Mary are happy with the design they made. They save the design and move from the coffee table. But now when they have finished with the design they can not think of anything interesting to talk about. There is a moment of uncomfortable silence... Suddenly Tom notices the text on the t-shirt that Mary wears, and they start to talk about...

9. T-shirt -T-shirt displays the tag cloud of your favorite blog reader. It downloads the information by itself via Bluetooth.
