This document describes a student project to build a model of a cell out of various materials. It lists the main parts of the cell that were included in the model - the cytoplasm made from cardboard, salt and sugar; the membrane from clay and ear buds; the nucleus from tissue paper and paint; and the lysosome and vacuole from paper and paint. It then explains the steps taken to construct the cell model, cutting cardboard, adding the nucleus, and pasting plastic onto the cardboard. Finally, it provides brief definitions of the nucleus, membrane and cytoplasm.
