1. Be:
 Am: with the personal pronoun II
 Is: with the personal pronouns he, she or it (or with the
singular form of nouns)
 Are: with the personal pronouns we, you or they (or with the
plural form of nouns)
 Example:
 I am hungry.
 It is okay.
 You are not friendly.

 Use:

 'have got' is mainly used in British English. You can also
use 'have' on its own (especially in American English).
 In this case, however, you must form negative

Words can end in three different s-sounds:
1. When the verbs ends with ‘s’ or “es” like in these words the sounds
will be like gas, likes, and stops escaping from a pipe. /S/
2. When the verbs ends with ‘s’ or “es” like in these words runs, goes,
and leaves the sounds will be as /Z/
3. When the verbs ends with ‘s’ or “es” like in these words ‘is’,
watches, and notices the sounds will be like as /IZ/
