1. A Budget Sheet

certain aspects meaning they might run out
of money, and the producer would either
have to start cutting out scenes or actors and
worst case scenario production will have to
shut down all together.
The producer would write down the cost for
things like, facilities, accommodation,
camera equipment, labour for example hair
and makeup. The producer will have to
record how much the labour is as well as
how much the makeup and hair products
are.

2. Call Sheet
A call sheet is another document that
will help production go smoother. A
call sheet is a document to let people
know in advance where they need to
be and at what time.
This helps avoid confusion and means
everyone who needs to be on set and
behind the camera is on time so they
don’t waste any time and that no one
has to be at two places at once.
They would record who has to be at a
particular scene from the actors down
to the camera crew, so they can get
the call sheet out so people are told
where they need to be so no one gets
double booked and they don’t waste
time.

3. Shot List
This document records what will
happen in each individual shot or scene
and what will be used in it. This
document serves as a detailed checklist
that gives the video a sense of direction
so that it prepares the crew for the shot
and so they know exactly what they are
doing.
They would record how long the shot
will be and what type of shot the
camera men need to do and what
exactly is going on in the scene. This
document will also help the editors put
the film together in post-production

4. Location Permission Form
To film in a public place you need to get
permission and if you don’t some people
could take legal action and sue you for
trespassing.
It is an document to insure that if
someone takes a video and people sue
then they have that to prove that they
had permission.
They would log things like the location,
and the date and time that the filming
took place.

5. Release And Consent
Agreement Form
If you want to have footage of other
people in your film then you will
need this form. People need to sign
it which means they are agreeing
that the production company owns
the right to the footage and they
can use if how ever they like.
If people who are in the shot refuse
to sign this form then the
production team can’t use that
scene.
This document is meant to prevent
people getting cold feet and to stop
them from suing the production
team for lost of money

6. Risk Assessment Form
A all productions must carry out a
risk assessment in an attempt to
reduce accidents.
They would analyse the scenery
and all the hazards and write down
ways to avoid them and a plan of
action in the case of something
bad happening.
If they do not carry out a risk
assessment form then something
bad could happen on set and
people could sue.

7. Gant Chart
This document is a timeline
of the production schedule.
This document helps
production stay on track
and allows them to use
there time wisely.

in gant charts, so it is easier
and faster for people to
read

8. Shooting Schedule
This is a document that lists out every
scene and when it is taking place. This
document is filled in and handed out to
every cast and crew member.
This helps everyone now in advance what
scene is being shot that day so the actors
and crew can prepare for it.
This document also saves time in
production because everyone knows what
is happening so they can just go to set and
get the scene done. Then start preparing
the next one on the schedule.

9. Location Reece
This is a form to document different
locations to determine its suitability for
shooting.
In the document they would log things
like access to facilities needed during
shooting and if there will be any
shooting issues like bad lighting or
sound issue.
This document is very similar to location
scouting only this document tells you
the pros and cons of a particular
location.

10. Personnel Details Form
This is a form that allows the
producer to use footage of
someone and they can release it
anywhere they want e.g. in their
film.
It prevents people from backing
out at the last second and leaving
the producers with no footage.
