Budgets sheet
A budget sheet is used in film pre production to
make sure the film producers don’t go over
budget. It also helps them balance out what they
are spending their money on, making sure that
they don’t overspend on on one category.
Personnel details/contact
This sheet is so that the filming producer has all the key
information they need on the employees of the the film production.
This sheet also tracks who was working for the company, when
and in what position.
As-well as knowing all information on the employee it is also used
in emergency situations on set or at work is anything tragic
happens.
Call sheet
A call sheet is something that keeps the whole production in
tack, without this sheet no one would know where or when to
go.This sheet gets all the employees to the location they need
to be at the right time.
A shot list is a checklist that ticks off every different shot
within the film. It describes each individual sheet shot. This
contains the location of the sene, phone number for the
scripts, the type of shots, camera moments and a description
of the action.
Shot List
Location permissions forms
This sheet is for the government or the owner of the
location to sign to grant the production promotion to film
on their property. This is also a legal requirement made by
the government so that people don’t just go round filming
in random locations with no promotion. This also certifies
the fact that all payments have been payed and the
person lending the location are happy with the agreement.
Release and consent agreement
Each actor gets a Release and consent
agreement form and have to sign it before
starting the production. With- out this sheet the
film does not legally belong to you as the maker
and writer of the film. This form also allows you
to use any performance that was made for the
film. Without this being signed by the actor you
don’t have the right to use a actors image and
you can’t sell your film without this being signed.
A risk assessment sheet is a safety prosega that
needs to be done before taking all your
employees to a location to make sure that it’s
okay to film at and it’s not dangerous in anyway.
This sheet is also used on some of the scenes if
any actions may be taken whilst filming that may
be dangerous in any way.
Risk assessment
This is a type of bar chart that illustrates a filming
schedule on the x axis it tells you the project tasks
and then time intervals on the y axis. The width of
the blue bars in the chart show the amount of time
the activity is scheduled for.
This helps producers manage time and is another
way of helping with the scheduling. Also makes
sure that everyone knows the project task.
Gantt chart
This sheet is a project plan for each day of
shooting this tells everyone where they are
meant to be at what time for this day. This
form helps with organisation because if a
scene is missed it’s not only very
inconvenient for the film producers it can also
be very expensive. If you had payed for a set
and location and all the other crew members.
Schedule
This is a checklist that you take to a location
before filming and you make sure that the
area is suitable for filming at. This sheet just
makes sure that all the places that the
producers need to check at the location have
been seen and made sure are okay.
