Abstract
Flow (a state of consciousness where people become totally immersed in an activity and enjoy it
intensely) has been identified as a desirable state with positive effects for employee well-being and
innovation at work. Flow has been studied using both questionnaires and Experience Sampling Method
(ESM). In this study, we used a newly developed 9-item flow scale in an ESM study combined with a
questionnaire to examine the predictors of flow at two levels: the activities (brainstorming, planning,
problem solving and evaluation) associated with transient flow states and the more stable job
characteristics (role clarity, influence and cognitive demands). Participants were 58 line managers from
two companies in Denmark; a private accountancy firm and a public elder care organization. We found
that line managers in elder care experienced flow more often than accountancy line managers, and
activities such as planning, problem solving, and evaluation predicted transient flow states. The more
stable job characteristics included in this study were not, however, found to predict flow at work.

An Empirical Study on relationship among Quality of work life and its factors
QWL is a very important concept of favorable situation in a working environment. QWL helps the management and employees by facilitating training opportunities, job satisfaction and working condition. A satisfied employee is one who has a career growth along with the organization growth. Sample of 826 respondents were collected from IT industry. The factor analysis was applied to find out the underlying variance among the variables. the results of exploratory factor analysis confirmed that the measurement scales used in this study satisfactorily met the standards of validity and reliability analyses. This study examined the moderating effect of employees' growth need strength on the relationship between job characteristics and job satisfaction among bank employees in Sri Lanka. Survey data was collected from 62 bank staff measuring their perceptions of job characteristics, growth need strength, and job satisfaction. Hypotheses were tested using correlation and regression analysis. While job characteristics were positively related to job satisfaction, employees' growth need strength did not significantly influence this relationship. However, growth need strength was found to positively predict job satisfaction levels. The study provides insights into how growth motivation impacts satisfaction among bank employees in Sri Lanka.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between Stress Management and
Employee performance in Deposit Money Banks in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. The population includes employees
of seven (7) selected Deposit Money Banks situated in Port Harcourt metropolis of Rivers State, Nigeria. The
sample size was 188 using the Taro Yamen‟s formula. After data cleaning, only data of 168 respondents were
finally used for data analysis. Descriptive statistics and Spearman‟s rank correlation were used for data analysis
and hypothesis testing. Findings revealed that stress management has a significant relationship with employee
efficiency and effectiveness. The study thus concluded that stress management bears a positive and significant
influence on employee performance. We recommend that management of deposit money banks should design
task and jobs in ways that would make for effectiveness and efficiency and bring about improvement in the
performance of their work force and that flexible job schedules should be incorporated into human resource
management strategies, policies and plan of deposit money banks to enhance easy employee performance and
commitment that will increase corporate survival.

Socialization of Employees Towards Areva T&D Limited
This document discusses a study conducted on the socialization of employees at AREVA T&D Limited in India. The study aimed to assess the effectiveness of the company's socialization program and identify if it is useful for employee performance. A survey was administered to 120 employees to understand their satisfaction with the existing socialization processes and perceptions of it. The results found that most employees were satisfied with the company and found the management approachable. However, some changes could be made to further improve the socialization program and overall employee satisfaction levels. The purpose of this study is analysing the work psychology through a holistic view, so
determining the right choice to designate a strategic management move through multi criteria
decision making method, by performing positive and negative work psychology analysis. In the
study, 221 the positive and negative work psychologies perception oriented to employees were
determined through survey method. The data were processed through correlation and regression
methods and a new set of information was obtained for ELECTRE analysis, a multi criteria
decision making method. Thus, the cycle of ELECTRE analysis was provided by using positive
work psychology outputs as alternative, and negative psychology outputs as criteria. In the result
of the analyses related to the work psychologies of employees, a reasonably significant relation
was determined between the outputs of positive and negative work psychologies. However, this
could not set forth which was the action plan to be implemented by managers. This problem was
solved through ELECTRE analysis. In the result of the ELECTRE analysis performed, it was
determined that, among the outputs of positive work psychology, “job satisfaction” was the most
dominant output to enhance the work psychology.

The researchers define workforce engagement as the aggregate work engagement experiences of individual employees in an organization. They hypothesize and find that workforce engagement significantly predicts organizational financial and customer metrics 1-2 years later, after controlling for industry. Additionally, they find that organizational practices, supervisory support, and work attributes are significant drivers of workforce engagement, and that workforce engagement mediates the relationship between these drivers and organizational performance. The study contributes to research on employee engagement by examining outcomes at the organizational level across diverse industries, using a predictive design, and investigating antecedents of and mediators in the workforce engagement-performance relationship.

Two studies examined how the relationship between employees' perceived skills and challenges at work interacted with their need for achievement to influence positive mood, intrinsic task interest, and performance. The studies found that among highly achievement-oriented employees, experiencing high skills and challenges at work was associated with greater positive mood, task interest, and performance than other skill-challenge combinations. Positive mood also mediated the interactive relationship between skill-challenge levels and achievement needs on performance. There is increasing confidence that cell therapies will soon play a role in the treatment of autoimmune disorders, but the extent of this impact remains to be seen. Early readouts on autologous CAR-Ts in lupus are encouraging, but manufacturing and cost limitations are likely to restrict access to highly refractory patients. Allogeneic CAR-Ts have the potential to broaden access to earlier lines of treatment due to their inherent cost benefits, however they will need to demonstrate comparable or improved efficacy to established modalities.
In addition to infrastructure and capacity constraints, CAR-Ts face a very different risk-benefit dynamic in autoimmune compared to oncology, highlighting the need for tolerable therapies with low adverse event risk. CAR-NK and Treg-based therapies are also being developed in certain autoimmune disorders and may demonstrate favorable safety profiles. Several novel non-cell therapies such as bispecific antibodies, nanobodies, and RNAi drugs, may also offer future alternative competitive solutions with variable value propositions.
Widespread adoption of cell therapies will not only require strong efficacy and safety data, but also adapted pricing and access strategies. At oncology-based price points, CAR-Ts are unlikely to achieve broad market access in autoimmune disorders, with eligible patient populations that are potentially orders of magnitude greater than the number of currently addressable cancer patients. Developers have made strides towards reducing cell therapy COGS while improving manufacturing efficiency, but payors will inevitably restrict access until more sustainable pricing is achieved.
Despite these headwinds, industry leaders and investors remain confident that cell therapies are poised to address significant unmet need in patients suffering from autoimmune disorders. However, the extent of this impact on the treatment landscape remains to be seen, as the industry rapidly approaches an inflection point.

Abstract Flow (a state of consciousness where people become totally immersed in an activity and enjoy it intensely) has been identified as a desirable state with positive effects for employee well-being and innovation at work. Flow has been studied using both questionnaires and Experience Sampling Method (ESM). In this study, we used a newly developed 9-item flow scale in an ESM study combined with a questionnaire to examine the predictors of flow at two levels: the activities (brainstorming, planning, problem solving and evaluation) associated with transient flow states and the more stable job characteristics (role clarity, influence and cognitive demands). Participants were 58 line managers from two companies in Denmark; a private accountancy firm and a public elder care organization. We found that line managers in elder care experienced flow more often than accountancy line managers, and activities such as planning, problem solving, and evaluation predicted transient flow states. The more stable job characteristics included in this study were not, however, found to predict flow at work. Copyright 2010 APA, all rights reserved.
