The study investigates anthropometric and haematological parameters in pre-diabetic individuals, identifying higher measurements for waist circumference, waist-hip ratio, and systolic blood pressure despite normal mean BMI values. Out of 142 pre-diabetics, 25.35% were found to be hypertensive, suggesting a noteworthy association between these anthropometric measures and pre-diabetes. The findings highlight the need for further research to explore the relationship between these parameters and diabetes risk.
