This document contains prayers to renounce various sins, feelings, relationships, and behaviors that can give demons legal rights or claims against a person. It provides prayers to renounce lust, sexual immorality, occult involvement, ungodly relationships, anger, unforgiveness, addiction, pride, envy, fear, selfishness, ungodly thought patterns, and covenants or oaths made by oneself or ancestors in order to remove grounds that demons can use to influence or bind a person. Short explanations are given for each renunciation on how that particular thing can give demons power over someone.

us, these can be claims a demon may
use against us. We need to forgive
them so the demons cannot use these
feelings against us.

that has bound me in the name of Jesus.
• Substances can hold a claim to us
(even if you stopped years ago). And
the demons can use these as legal
grounds against us. By renouncing our
addictions we are not allowing the
demons to bind us to the substances.

believe that we are above God. By
renouncing these things, we are
remembering our place before God.

it up from things in the world. These
can give a legal claim to the demons.

generational curses and oaths that our
