Are you a Project Manager still developing apps running into months and years?
Are you a Product Manager who still use mock screens to prototype a feature?
Are you a Software Consultant who is losing out to competitors due to lack of resources to execute?
Not just individuals, today even organisations big and small alike, struggle to keep up with the increasing pace of change intheir business requirements. They know that to keep pace with it, they must quickly build and deploy compelling web and mobile applications that connect with their customers, staff and other stakeholders in new and engaging ways.
The challenge, for many, is how? Recent study found that 85% of organisations want to deploy new apps faster yet only 18% have the means and ability to do so. All of which means over two thirds of organisations are failing to build and deploy the applications their business needs demand-a better way must be found.
Join Karthick Viswanathan & Venugopal Jidigam from WaveMaker for a 60-minute webinar to discover how to build and deploy rich connected web & mobile apps using WaveMaker Rapid Application Development platform.
Webinar - Creating an app ecosystem for your APIs
As the API Economy grows, every Enterprise is asking itself – how do we leverage our APIs to extend the reach of our business? What do we need to go from having an API to creating a viable app ecosystem around our APIs? We will explore how Enterprises can create both internal as well as external ecosystems around their APIs. We will look into the lifecycle of Create, Publish, Manage, Consume, Monitor and Monetize on your APIs.

Wrangling Large Scale Frontend Web ApplicationsRyan Roemer
Web applications are massively shifting to the frontend, thanks to exciting new JavaScript / CSS technologies, expanding browser capabilities (visualizations, real-time apps, etc.) and faster perceived user experiences. However, client web applications can be a nightmare to maintain at scale, even for seasoned software architects and operations engineers. Deployment and production infrastructures are complex and rapidly changing. And, frontend JavaScript / CSS code ships to browsers worldwide, where errors and issues are notoriously difficult to systematically detect and diagnose.
In this talk, we will tackle the wild west of the frontend with pragmatic steps and seasoned advice from helping organizations from startups to Fortune 500 companies create some of the largest frontend web applications on the Internet. In particular, we will examine the many hard lessons gleaned from leading frontend application development and education for a team of 50+ engineers rearchitecting a top-five e-commerce site. Some of the topics we will cover include:
* Managing and building very large (500K+ line) frontend application / test code bases.
* Surviving production traffic and errors on the frontend and handling spikes like Black Friday / Cyber Monday for one of the highest traffic e-commerce websites in existence.
* How, where, and why your frontend application is likely to fail.
* Monitoring, logging, and debugging frontend web applications out in the wild.
* Automating checks, tests, and code introspection to protect your code in production.
* Creating an effective, fast, and engineer-friendly development-test-deployment frontend pipeline.
Whether your frontend application already supports millions of transactions a day or you are about to launch your first single-page-application, our aim is to prepare teams of all sizes for the most critical challenges and solutions facing modern frontend web applications.
How we should perceive modern No Code Approach? How No Code approach differs from Code-based approach in software development. Is it silver bullet in creating business solutions?
Cloud Migration: Azure acceleration with CAST HighlightCAST
Learn how to accelerate your cloud migration: https://www.castsoftware.com/use-cases/cloud-readiness-and-migration
Cloud migration is table stakes for digital transformation initiatives. The driving factors to get to the cloud vary from organization to organization...for some, it's about cost savings and for others, it's about creating smarter apps that support continuous innovation.
IaaS – For organizations looking to reduce costs, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) is a great option. IaaS is sometimes described as "Lift and Shift" – when applications are moved from an existing infrastructure to a cloud infrastructure. This helps save money by reducing the hardware needed to run those applications and providing flexibility to adjust infrastructure requirements on-demand.
PaaS – For organizations looking for smarter deployments that facilitate digital transformation, streamline the delivery of new feature and support emerging technologies like IoT and Machine Learning, Platform as a Service (PaaS) is a more suitable option. While a considerable percentage of new application development is done with a cloud-first mentality, most legacy software is not optimized for a cloud environment.
So now the question becomes, how do I get my existing application portfolios ready for cloud migration so I can take full advantage of new technologies and processes
Software Intelligence-Based Cloud Readiness
So you’re ready for PaaS, but before you begin to assess the technical and structural requirements of the migration, you must also determine the business drivers for cloud and the desired outcomes. Setting a cloud migration roadmap that is based on comprehensive Software Intelligence that considers both business drivers and technical features of your applications is a critical first step.

Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.

Observability Concepts EVERY Developer Should Know -- DeveloperWeek Europe.pdfPaige Cruz
Monitoring and observability aren’t traditionally found in software curriculums and many of us cobble this knowledge together from whatever vendor or ecosystem we were first introduced to and whatever is a part of your current company’s observability stack.
While the dev and ops silo continues to crumble….many organizations still relegate monitoring & observability as the purview of ops, infra and SRE teams. This is a mistake - achieving a highly observable system requires collaboration up and down the stack.
I, a former op, would like to extend an invitation to all application developers to join the observability party will share these foundational concepts to build on:
zkStudyClub - Reef: Fast Succinct Non-Interactive Zero-Knowledge Regex ProofsAlex Pruden
This paper presents Reef, a system for generating publicly verifiable succinct non-interactive zero-knowledge proofs that a committed document matches or does not match a regular expression. We describe applications such as proving the strength of passwords, the provenance of email despite redactions, the validity of oblivious DNS queries, and the existence of mutations in DNA. Reef supports the Perl Compatible Regular Expression syntax, including wildcards, alternation, ranges, capture groups, Kleene star, negations, and lookarounds. Reef introduces a new type of automata, Skipping Alternating Finite Automata (SAFA), that skips irrelevant parts of a document when producing proofs without undermining soundness, and instantiates SAFA with a lookup argument. Our experimental evaluation confirms that Reef can generate proofs for documents with 32M characters; the proofs are small and cheap to verify (under a second).
