This document outlines a phenomenological study on online sabong (cockfighting) gamblers in the Philippines. It discusses theoretical frameworks of social learning theory and genetics. The conceptual framework examines excessive online gambling leading to addiction, depression, anxiety, debt, and mood disorders. The study aims to understand motivations for joining online sabong, personal experiences, and financial management of gambling capital. It will use purposive sampling and interviews of online sabong gamblers in Barangay Quezon, Tandag City, Philippines. The goal is to provide insight for gamblers, society, local residents, health departments, and future researchers.
