Our Objectives
Building product awareness
When introducing our new product we as marketers can use a PR element that
generates consumer attention and awareness through media placements and
special events. We are going to collaborate with popular YouTuber’s in order to
conduct a social experiment to subtly raise awareness for our music video. This
will get to our target market as the audience of these videos have an average
age of 15yrs.
Creating interest
To create interest around our music video we are taking inspiration from how
other artists like Beyoncé who released a snippet of her newest song
‘Lemonade’ on Instagram which has targeted her fans directly in seconds.
Furthermore, we hope to connect with our followers via social media through
Twitter, Instagram and Facebook regular updates and exclusive info about the
new and upcoming video . By doing this we are regularly reminding the public
about what we are doing so we can maintain relevance.
Stimulating Demand
To stimulate demand we are aiming to give our audience an input into our
product through the use of ‘polls’ on Twitter. Any big decisions we face within
the production process we will create an online poll where our followers can
vote on the most viable option. Through this connection and regular new
information we want to make it extremely hard for our audience not to be
intrigued about what we are working on…
