Lack of management in waste collection in the Metropolitan areas of Matera reflects historical structural divide, which produces costs on the City Hall e on the final consumers through higher taxes, beyond further CO2 emissions to carry the waste to other regions to be recycled.
European Waste Framework Directive's 50 % should be pursued in 2020 for Municipal waste.
We should pass this target to become a sustainable community, reglobalizating the energy from bottom through Distributed Generated Association.
Distributed Generation is the strategic placement of small power generating units near customer loads. Distributed generation technologies include such resources as:
Industrial gas turbines
Reciprocating engines in industrial and commercial heat and power applications
Storage systems
Wind turbines
Photovoltaic
Biomass
Hydrogen Fuel cells
A DGA is a community of customers who become producers of their own energy, are less dependent from interests of power lobbies, interconnected in a global net where producers community ex-change energy to each other horizontally.
A Grid for Distributed Generation Energy produced from Municipal Waste would allow to my City Hall to comply with European standards and efficiency in Municipal Waste management, producing cheap energy for the inhabitants.

raccolta differenziata dell’umido vengono
convogliati i rifiuti organici. Essi sono
raccolti in un depuratore. Con questo
impianto verranno separati i rifiuti organici
dall’acqua depurata.
5. Questi rifiuti sono immessi in un sistema
chiamato digestore anaerobico. In questo
grande contenitore le sostanze organiche si
degradano attraverso microrganismi,
generando biogas.
9. La cogenerazione viene tipicamente definita
“microcogenerazione”, per potenze fino a 50 kW e
“piccola cogenerazione” fino a 1 MW. La
cogenerazione a motore endotermico, unitamente
industriali a bassa temperatura, raggiungendo
livelli di efficienza molto elevati.
15. I benefici dell’idea
Applicando il nostro progetto al paese di
Palosco i benefici sarebbero molti.
Ad esempio, genererebbe abbastanza energia per
tutti gli edifici comunali. Inoltre, con l’energia
prodotta si equiparerebbero i costi degli impianti
(cogeneratore, digestore anaerobico, ecc…).
