 It is a software through which the time office set work.
 It plays an important role in the time office.
 It maintains, monitored and update the attendance
 It has a right to login to web smart by using location, user ID
and password

 Add new joiners in the system
Go to employee option- click add – enter the details
LEAVE SANCTION
 Leaves of the employees enter through the options.
 By using their codes shows the opening balance of the
leaves, number of leaves used, current balance of the leaves
etc.
 For cancellation
employee code – click on sanction – click cancel
TIME SANCTION
 To update in and out time, week off, holidays, shift of the
employees by putting their employee codes
DATA UTILITIES
 Data processing is done to know the attendance of the
employees where an employee is present or absent, whether
he is on leave, week off etc.
 click on web smart – log in by using location, user name and
password – data utilities – change date – select all – process.
REPORT
 In report option to generate various reports such as present,
absent, irregular, continuous absenteeism, late, early.
2. DOWNLOADING THE LOGS FROM BIOMETRIC
MACHINES
 A biometric machines are installed every location is sufficient
numbers.
 The attendance of all employees is maintained a monitored
by using this machine.
 For downloading logs
Click on smart FP software- admin- select all- connect-
download logs- ok.
3. UPLOADING FINGER PRINTS ON THE ATTENDANCE
SYSTEM
 To do this we have to click on admin – select machine
of the employee finger print is registered and do
connect- click on upload finger print.
4. TRANSFERRING THE FINGER PRINTS FROM ONE
MACHINE TO OTHER MACHINE
 To transfer click on admin – do connect- download user-
connect the machine where we want to transfer the finger
prints- click on upload finger prints- put registered machine
code- show download user- out employee code and click on
find.
 Then select employee code and IP address of connected
machine-and click on upload, then again connect the same
machine and put employee code- click on download template.
5. ACCESS CMS SYSTEM
 It meant for contract employees.
 In the system all the contract employees attendance is
maintained and monitored.
 To add new employee in the system along with their
contractors- click on master- add all details employee then
save.
 Downloading the logs: To download logs- go to the process-
smart FP- download logs
6. CALCULATING THE LTA
 LTA means Leave Travel Allowance,
 It is basically defined as the cost of travel granted to the
employees to travel anywhere in India, while on leave from
work.
 The amount of exemption depends upon the mode of travel
and it is allowed only towards the travel fare and not for
boarding and lodging
