2.  In comparison to last year, there is an
increased in number of Indonesian students
at the University of Warwick
 Studying in wide variety of disciplines, such as
engineering, liberal arts, business, science and
more.
 Post-graduate students made up the majority
of proportion
 Coming from different backgrounds (high
school, bachelor’s, professionals, etc)
 Hence there is a need to unite Indonesian
students at the University of Warwick
through common interests, in order to
create a sense of belonging in Indonesian
students
 The purpose is to provide Indonesian students
a home away from home

4.  Maintain & encourage support in Warwick Indonesian Forum
 We had successful events in Warwick Indonesian Forum. However….
 There was a lack of involvement from the PGs last year, would like to see more participation from the post
graduates, especially due to the wealth of experience they have
 Will also encourage students to participate in other events related to Indonesia as well
 Monthly programs/ events to strengthen the relationship of Indonesian students at University
Warwick based on common interests
 Programs can include cooking session, culinary visit, sports sparring, FIFA tournament, travel around UK
with PPI-Warwick, religious affiliated programs, social outreach/ voluntary and other interests that might be
commonly shared by PPI-Warwick
 To create a website for PPI-Warwick updates
 This website will be the central hub for any PPI-Warwick related activities. It is also aimed for potential/
incoming students to learn more about PPI-Warwick before they arrive
 To hold the inaugural PPI Warwick Award
 An award to recognize the outstanding members of PPI-Warwick. Participation & contribution to PPI-
Warwick will determine the eligibility in the award
 Creating strong-bond not only with the current students, but also with the Alumni & Prospective
students through Connecting Warwick
 Can vary from PPI-Warwick alumni database, linkedin group, facebook group, PPI-Warwick website etc

5. There will be several big events throughout the year. These events are intended to
create a stronger bond between each members, regardless of disciplines and
backgrounds. The tentative events are as follows:
 Cook off - November
 Goodbye 2016 - December
 Pre-Exam Relaxation - January
 Warwick Indonesian Forum - March
 End of Year Picnic – June [Warwickhshire? Stratford Upon Avon?]
