2. September 16 It celebrates Mexico’s Independence from the Spanish Government. 1810. September 16 Miguel Hidalgo ringed the bells to reunite all the people. 3. November 20 Its The Mexican Revolution. During 1910 and 1920 series of revolutions took place in Mexico. The people wanted to liberate from Porfirio Diaz’s autocracy. Porfirio Dias have been in power for 30 year and even though he brought great progress to the country, the peasants and laborers could not handle it anymore. Mexicans where tired of their exploitation and wanted a change in the Government.
