10. What is Omnistudio?
OmniStudio is a low-code development platform that allows businesses to
build custom applications quickly and easily. It helps to simplify the creation
of complex, industry-specific experiences on Salesforce. It is an all-in-one
platform that offers a range of tools and features to help businesses develop
and deploy custom applications without the need for extensive coding
knowledge.
15. There are many tables like this.
Omnistudio is supposed to reduce the development
time crazily. Is this true?
Can Omnistudio solve all the problems?
Should we abandon the custom code?
18. Omnistudio is a powerful tool which DOESN’T
REPLACE the custom code, but complements it very
well and identifying the use cases for each tool is the
key.
Furthermore we need to remember that combining
them is another powerful option.
19. Options for combining Omnistudio and custom code
Flexcards and Omniscripts can be used on LWCs
Lightning Web Components can be used on Flexcards and Omniscripts
Elements from Omniscripts can be overridden by LWCs for extending
their logic
Apex code can be called from Omnistudio components
Integration procedures can be called from apex
20. So the key is to identify when each tool can be the
optimal or not, and make a design which takes the
advantage of each one of them.
Even if the first time can be a bit difficult, we shouldn’t
be scared of mixing Omnistudio and custom code.
For example, omniscripts and flexcards, in background,
THEY ARE LIGHTNING WEB COMPONENTS
So makes sense to mix then with LWCs, right?

46. How do we get more women & talent into Salesforce?
Why does it matter?
● We must attract and develop women in tech or we are missing out
on half the population.
● Companies will be better equipped to meet the increasing demand
for tech talent when women become a substantial part of the
equation.
● We need to reduce biases as much as possible; teams designing,
developing and deploying new technologies, need to encompass the
world for which they are creating.
