Creative Partnerships Mentoring Programme
Creative Partnerships commissioned Arts Inform to design, establish, manage and evaluate a two-phase mentoring programme pairing teachers in Creative Partnerships schools with representatives from cultural organizations. The evaluation of the second phase found that the 25 mentoring partnerships largely achieved their aims and objectives, which were highly relevant to the schools' work. STUDENT EXPERIENCES IN A COURSE BLENDED LEARNING
Fascination is a project for design students, developed jointly by the Technical University of Catalonia
(UPC) and the University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), which works with two groups of students,
one group of participants in Spain and another group in Thailand where, hands-on activities, a range
of technologies are used to prepare students for the lessons, through learning activities and content.
This research paper presents the test of both a general model and a tool for measuring the
participants’ experiences in a course that uses a blended learning methodology, with the aim of
collecting empirical evidence to justify the effort of applying this methodology, based on the
participants’ satisfaction. The procedure used in the conceptualization of the survey, the generation of
topics, the collection of data, and the validation of the scale of various items are described here. The
information, provided by the 26 people surveyed about the course and the virtual environment that
was used, was analyzed to measure their perceptions and explore possible relations. Finally the
conclusions of the research and the future work are presented.
CDFE
This project aims to build the capacity of faculties of education in the Middle East and North Africa region by introducing best practices from the European Union in teacher education. It focuses on action research, practical teaching experience, and professional development for teachers. The project will strengthen partnerships between universities and schools to improve teacher training and support. It also seeks to create collaboration between EU and MENA institutions to share expertise in modernizing teacher preparation programs. If successful, the partner countries will adopt EU approaches to student teaching, research, and continuing education for teachers.
GLAD finished Feb 2015

This project aimed to develop partnerships between schools, teacher education providers, and museums/galleries to provide alternative placements for trainee teachers. Five regional partnerships were established, with training to share practices. Models for partnership and professional development were developed. Strong, sustainable partnerships were formed. Flexible models for alternative placements were created. Trainee teachers gained experience with creative teaching approaches and skills to utilize museums/galleries. The participating organizations and students all benefited from the rewarding experiences.
