Solution Tested Have each individual start analyzing their own thoughts in the morning when first woken up 7-Day SMS Intervention Received initial survey in email Text message (as trigger or recall) at 8:30P.M. daily Follow-up survey #ASUHealthChange
Results Advantages:  more aware of thoughts being positive, increased outlook during day, help awareness of thoughts Limitations:  Hard to remember first thought, having neutral thoughts, stress or work inhibiting positive thoughts Overall Result:   by 1.5 days of having a positive thought in the morning and increasing positive outlook for the day! Success!
Conclusion It was shown to increase the positive thoughts people had when they first woke up and did increase their positive outlook for the day Problems: recruiting or finding best time to send a reminder.  For the future: A self-trigger may need to be applied right when they first woke up. #ASUHealthChange
