This document discusses positive and negative space studies created by Mr. Brandt's Drawing 1 students at Fort Mill High School in South Carolina in September 2015. The students created drawings that explored the relationship between positive shapes and negative spaces around and between those shapes. Their studies examined how positive and negative spaces interact and relate to each other in a composition.
