The Senior Weighbridge Operator and North West Regional Sales Assistant will oversee weighbridge operations and coordinate scheduling and dispatch of quarry products from North West quarries to customers. They will supervise weighbridge operators, enter orders into systems, allocate orders to transport providers, and ensure compliance with weights and measures requirements. Additionally, they will provide customer account management, develop sales strategies, and ensure high quality customer support to improve financial and operational outcomes in the Mid West, Pilbara and Kimberley regions. The role requires a minimum of 3 years' experience in quarrying operations, weighbridge, and sales administration with strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Reporting to the General Manager Quarries (WA). The Senior Weighbridge Operator
and North West Regional Sales Assistant will have responsibility for overseeing all
state weighbridge operations. The primary responsibility of the role is to ensure
effective co-ordination and scheduling of quarry products from all North West Quarries
to the customer. In addition, this role is required to undertake sales, billing, including
but not limited to general fielding of calls, quote creation, customer service, allocation
of orders to cartage contractors and collation of customer feedback.

• Provide supervision and training for Orange Grove and all Regional WA Quarries
weighbridge operators and assistants.
• Co-Ordinate the scheduling and despatch of orders.
• Liaise with the Business Development Manager Quarries WA and Quarry teams in
regards to capacity, logistic and product queries.
• Liaise with all Quarry Managers and on site staff to ensure product availability prior
to despatch.
• Ensure all North West regional orders are entered into the Apex Command system
prior to dispatch.
• Allocation of all orders to an approved Boral Logistics’ provider for efficient material
deliveries.
• Undertake regular audits of vehicle tare and permits and record outcomes to
ensure ongoing compliance with Main Roads WA weights and measures
requirements and company policy.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external
customers.
• Customer Account Management and COD enquiries to provide relevant quotations
and product information within delegated authority limits and in compliance with
account status.
• Preparation of dockets and tax invoices for all Customer Accounts, provide training
and supervision to Boral onsite staff to ensure accuracy of product pricing and

carter payments.
• Provide training to onsite Boral staff for COD customers to ensure accuracy of
product pricing and carter payments. Also to ensure that payment is received prior
despatching of any product.
• Communicate and implement continuous improvement with processes.
• Provision of site inductions for drivers new to the quarry.
• Leads and promote a safety first and ZIP/10 safety culture.
• Ensure all work is carried out in a manner which ensures and promotes health and
safety in line with Boral policy and procedures and relevant legislation.
• Ensure all injuries and incidents are reported, investigated and addressed or
escalated as required.
