What is the difference between an MSA and an MBA?
An MSA provides broad preparation for a variety of administrative positions in a wide range of organizations. An MBA
provides more specialized preparation for positions that concentrate on finance and economics as well as other business-
   related jobs.

An MSA pulls courses from a variety of disciplines, including psychology, economics, political science, computer science,

RE: Matthew Dean Hambleton #20080317740

To whom it may concern,

For the past six years I have volunteered to be the team physician for the Jackson High School Football team as
well as an advisor for the other sports. During this time period, I have had the opportunity to work with and get
to know Matthew Hambleton very well as the chief athletic trainer for Jackson High School. Two of my sons
were trained by and worked with Matthew as student athletic trainers during their last three years of high
school. My youngest son Zachary is studying exercise science and athletic training at Eastern Michigan
University as a direct result of meeting and working with Matthew.

Matthew is a very responsible, dedicated, honest and conscientious individual who is very concerned about the
health and welfare of the student athletes that he cares for. He knows his limitations and recognizes problems
that just don’t seem right from his point of view when evaluating the students. If he doesn’t know what is wrong
or has a concern, he doesn’t hesitate to call for advice and guidance or seek the appropriate care. In doing so
he is very humble and does not appear to be pretentious.

Matthew is very involved with the high school athletes and the student trainers as well as being creative and
innovative in order to have fun and stimulate their interests in athletic training. In 2006, Matthew developed and
organized the first annual countywide “student athletic trainer Olympics” for the Jackson area high schools.

Matthew is very compassionate and understanding of the student’s plight when evaluating, treating and
discussing their injury with them and their parents. Often these situations can be very problematic especially
when the athlete is a star player. I have been very impressed with how well Matthew maintains his integrity and
credibility as an athletic trainer in sticking to what is appropriate and limiting the athlete’s ability to return to
play so as not to permanently injure or disable the student.

In the past twenty five years, I have worked both in academic and community medicine. I have worked training
and teaching, medical students, residents, physician assistant students, nurses, paramedics and EMTs. In my
opinion, Matthew Hambleton will make an excellent physician assistant. Any program would be proud to
graduate him and any community or medical practice would be very fortunate to recruit him. Matthew is very
involved in the community where he lives as evidenced by all of the activities enumerated in his curriculum
vitae. I highly recommend without any reservations that you accept Matthew Hambleton into your Physician
Assistant School.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call me at any time. I can be contacted by

RE: Matthew DeanHambleton #20080317740 To whom it may concern, For the past six years I have volunteered to be the team physician for the Jackson High School Football team as well as an advisor for the other sports. During this time period, I have had the opportunity to work with and get to know Matthew Hambleton very well as the chief athletic trainer for Jackson High School. Two of my sons were trained by and worked with Matthew as student athletic trainers during their last three years of high school. My youngest son Zachary is studying exercise science and athletic training at Eastern Michigan University as a direct result of meeting and working with Matthew. Matthew is a very responsible, dedicated, honest and conscientious individual who is very concerned about the health and welfare of the student athletes that he cares for. He knows his limitations and recognizes problems that just don’t seem right from his point of view when evaluating the students. If he doesn’t know what is wrong or has a concern, he doesn’t hesitate to call for advice and guidance or seek the appropriate care. In doing so he is very humble and does not appear to be pretentious. Matthew is very involved with the high school athletes and the student trainers as well as being creative and innovative in order to have fun and stimulate their interests in athletic training. In 2006, Matthew developed and organized the first annual countywide “student athletic trainer Olympics” for the Jackson area high schools. Matthew is very compassionate and understanding of the student’s plight when evaluating, treating and discussing their injury with them and their parents. Often these situations can be very problematic especially when the athlete is a star player. I have been very impressed with how well Matthew maintains his integrity and credibility as an athletic trainer in sticking to what is appropriate and limiting the athlete’s ability to return to play so as not to permanently injure or disable the student. In the past twenty five years, I have worked both in academic and community medicine. I have worked training and teaching, medical students, residents, physician assistant students, nurses, paramedics and EMTs. In my opinion, Matthew Hambleton will make an excellent physician assistant. Any program would be proud to graduate him and any community or medical practice would be very fortunate to recruit him. Matthew is very involved in the community where he lives as evidenced by all of the activities enumerated in his curriculum vitae. I highly recommend without any reservations that you accept Matthew Hambleton into your Physician Assistant School. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call me at any time.
